"But better to get hurt by the truth than comforted with a lie."
~Khaled Hosseini(James P.O.V.)~
"You made a deal with him?!" Kevin squeaked.
"Here we go!" John grumbled.
"He left me with no choice, Kevin! You know that!" I cried in frustration.
"And you agreed to this?!... Do you even realize the consequences that are about to happen to us right now?!..." He asked me very angrily.
"You would've done this too, Kevin! I even disagree with this about what decision that I had made, but none of that matters to me right now. What matters is that we keep our heads straight and emotions in check!" I said coolly.
"I think that after this is over, we should be getting used to this by now." said John.
"What consequences?" Matthew asked, puzzled.
"James is right, Kevin." Said Karl.
"You're taking his side too?" Kevin asked, bewildered.
"I'm not taking anybody's side, I'm just saying that he's right. We all would've done this too. We need to calm down and focus about what is coming to earth, their world, and to us as well. I would advise you to calm down Kevin, but then, that would make all of us either a friend or foe to both worlds, instead of either one of them." Karl told him, and the rest of us coolly.
"You know what Karl, as Tony stark once told Captain America in that one civil war trailer, now I'm gonna tell it the same things to you guys... Sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth, because this is freaking ridiculous!... Just totally, and seriously ridiculous!" Kevin cried as he stormed out of the living room and walked upstairs to his own bedroom, after shutting the doors very hard so that all of us were supposed to hear it. I rolled my eyes.
"He's got a point. This is ridiculous, but it's also something at least worth fighting for..." said John calmly with a small sigh, scratching his head then he started to stand up to his feet and stretch himself out while talking to the rest of us in his boredom, "Even I am not taking anyone sides, but we already all know what's at stake here. So, my thought is that we can go back to the village, accept his deal and do his stupid race, while half of us would find out what Pablo's real plan really is if there truly is one... Or walk it way off and or millions of lives will be lost into an eternal abyss in heaven or in hell.... What do you guys think?"
"Well... I wouldn't say that they would be eternally lost..." I said coolly, correcting him.
"Yeah it kind of would be lost, if you catch my drift." Matthew replied quickly.
"Whatever." I said.
Then Silence filled the room for about a few minutes. I sighed in the useless piece of comfort that I could be in relief with by now. It does pain me to see my friends like this, after the choices that I have made without them, and their help to make this powerful decision.
"So what do you guys think? Should we do it or not do it?" John asked us again.
"Let's do it to it, I guess..." said Karl.
"Fine..." I grumbled.
"As Optimus Prime would say it... 'Let's Roll out!'" said Matthew coolly.
