"I'm not afraid of death; I just don't want to be there when it happens." -Woody Allen

We finally found the manual, and no, we were not wasting our time. When we got back to the Starlight village, we did not expect to see what we were about to see with our own eyes. On to sides of the race there were two white lines going sideways, in between the whole town, and the crowd that stood sideways watching the bus appear at the end of the road, was not surprised. Only frightened of us, because of me, Pablo, and of what was about to come to pass.

"Berumins! I have returned to you today! To give you this chance of survival! To give you this one chance to live! To give you--!... A Race of Honorary Champions!" Pablo announced so greatly to the villager's own demise. They do not actually know what he is up to, hence, even we do not know what he is truly up to, in our opinion until the very end.

"This is not a race of champions..." I heard Kevin mutter to himself, "This is a race of death."

"We need to stay as positive and as firmly good as we can, even if we lose this race, we will still have each other, guys." I whispered.

"I think that we already have that uncovered and discovered out of our own dictionaries, James." Matthew replied.

"If only we could find a way to get out of here before something bad might happen, just like what I remember Nathaniel telling us when we were here last time..." Karl said softly.

"So what now, your highness?" Kevin asked me, bewildered and was much eagerly to hear my plans.

"Well, I know that you won't like it, but, the truth is, Kevin... I have no idea." I whispered to him at last. My eyes went wide in shock when I saw Mayor Izzy at the starting lines with a green flag. Getting ready for the races to begin for us.

"Everyone to your positions, as my brother and I make it to ours!" Pablo announced with his own confidence inside of his cold hearted mouth.

"Ready to race, dearest James?" He asked me coldly with a grin.

"Ready to die and lose some teeth, Pablo?" I asked him rudely. He didn't look angry. He just looked at me with another wicked grin across his face that freaked me out a little bit.

"We'll see soon enough!" He replied.

"How soon? Because I think that you're too scared to challenge me, Pablo. Just like last time, remember?" I asked. "I still don't think that this is right. What about you, Pablo? Have you ever thought about fleeing again? Since I have already kicked your butts before, Pablo?" I added.

"Not really. But we'll see who gets to lose some teeth or win these three rounds of the race first!" He said proudly with a wicked grin.

"Bring it on then!" I growled in my own disgust and annoyance.

"On your marks!... Get Set!... GO!!!" said Mayor Izzy as she waved the green flag side to side. The race began, and there were only three laps. I changed into a flying eagle when she gave us the signal, Pablo changed into some kind of bird, that was not here, but on earth that I didn't recognize. He might've seen that bird in some opened books he did. Pablo was red, black, and white all over the rest of his body while his beak stayed as black as coal in the hot fire. Still, something about Pablo always seemed too odd for me to worry about. Like his wings, for example.

Heaven forbid that I would believe in death, this race was going to kill me for sure. I had no part in what Pablo tells me is anything but untrue. He's hiding something, and I gotta find out what before he's does something worse up more than just his own sleeves.

I just hope that it will be worth saving something much bigger for a change after this is over, I still don't even know if this is the right thing to do. Maybe it isn't after all...
