I Will Never Lose Hope
Chapter 1
Then
I was only eight and with mother on the bus, we were sitting in the back. Soon the bus hit something and the bus went rolling but then the bus stopped. I looked at my mother but everything was blurry, my mom looked at me faintly then her eyes closed. I knew in my heart at that moment she had died, I wanted to scream in sadness but then a something struck my throat and I blacked out. When I woke up my Aunty was next to me her eyes filled with sadness. Doctor’s pilled in my room one told me my voice was gone and could never return but another doctor said to never lose hope and my Aunty said the same so that is what I will do.
Now
“Fay” I ran down the steps of the house. My Aunt Jenny was standing in front of the front door waiting to say goodbye to me as she always does but neither of us knew what was going to happen today. I gave my aunt a hug and I kissed her cheek before she left me all alone at home. I walked back upstairs to my room; I laid down on my bed my book in my hands. I opened the book to where I last read as I read along to the story the phone started to ring. I grabbed the phone next to my bed, the thing is answering phones for me isn’t a easy things so what I did was tapped the phone where you’re supposed to talk into but for me I just tap the phone so they know someone is there.
“Good morning Fay its Mark from the police station I have some bad news for you” he said, I tapped the phone again telling him that I was still there
“Your aunt Jenny was in a car accident and was killed. I’m very sorry for your loss and I will call your father for you” he said I tapped back at the phone then hung up I started to cry after I hung up. Mark is my uncle who was also a police officer, he is my aunts and brother and my mom’s brother.
So I attended her funeral I was wearing all black but I was crying while I was watching as my aunt was taken down to the grave. Now I was supposed to pack up all my things that I needed and what I didn’t need I had to leave behind to be sold. I took all my things that I wanted to take my pictures of my friends and families, my clothes, shoes, makeup and my electronics.
I grabbed my purse putting my phone, iPod and my ticket for the plane. I walked down the stairs of my once home and down to my uncle who was waiting to drive me to the airport. We loaded all my things into the trunk of his car; he sat down in the car as I got into the passenger seat. He drove off while I sat listening to the music as I waited for us to get to the airport. He drove up to the front of the airport, he helped me unload my things and said goodbye to me then left me. I then walked inside with my things in my hands and took them to the bag carrier and then went to the entrance. I handed the woman my ticket and walked onto the plane, I walked around trying to find my seat when I found it I sat down by the window and then took out my IPod putting my music on shuffle the first song by ‘Escape the Fate’. I soon fell asleep till there was a man’s voice saying to turn off all electronics; I turned my iPod off and sat looking down at my book. I was sitting by no one but behind me was a little kid kicking the back of my seat. I got up, turned around and used my white board to ask the kid to stop and thank goodness the kid had some manners and stopped. I sat back down when the man’s voice came back up and said that you can have your electronics back on, I took out my IPod and turned it back onto the ‘Warped Tour 2010’ CD and on shuffle, soon falling asleep dreaming about my mother.
