As I walked to the front door of the school I could feel eyes on me, it was a bit weird to be completely honestly. It was probably weird because of the guys but I do not know they were very cool.

“Fay I’ll show you around” Emmet said looking down at me, man he is tall

“Thank you but I think I will just find it on my own” I wrote down on the white board smiling at him

“Okay well we have to go so we will see you later” Emmet said before walking off, the guys fallowing behind him. The guys were gone now, I was standing alone now. I began walking inside the school; as soon as I walked in I noticed the office and walked in.

“You must be the new girl, Fay Baxter, right?” said the man who was standing, I guess waiting

“I hope you feel at home here and don’t worry all your teachers know that you can’t speak and your first period teacher knows you may be late” I nodded “Fallow me and I’ll walk you to your first period class” he said and began walking. We walked down one hall then ended up going up a flight of stairs and then we were at the door. He opened it slowly and then motioned me to go in, I did, and he stood in front of the class.

“Everyone this is Fay Baxter, she just transferred from America and she is mute so please be very kind to her and help her out if she needs any” he said and then walked right out of the room.

“Fay please introduce yourself” the teacher said, I looked at him and bit my lip

“Mr. Martin she’s a mute which means she can’t speak” I looked over and saw Jacob, I smiled and waved, he smiled in return and waved back

“Oh, yes I forgot well then just go sit down in any empty seat” Ms. Martin said, I nodded and walked back to an empty seat. I heard some people say stuff about how stupid I was because I’m a mute but I think it’s perfectly fine. School was boring, people laughed and stared at me and by lunch everyone knew who I was. I walked into the cafeteria all eyes turned on to me, very uncomfortable for me.

“Fay” I looked over to a table in the corner and saw the guys sitting at a table with tons of other people, Emmet had his hand covering a seat and motioned me to sit in it. I began walking over to the table; I pulled the chair out and sat down looking at the guys who were all talking to someone.

“Why is she sitting here?” some girl who was wearing a shirt way to short and a tight to small for her said

“Fay’s our friend and if you have a problem with that then you can leave” Jacob said snarling at her, she frowned and walked away with an ‘hmph’. I pulled out my whiteboard and the white marker and wrote ‘thank you’ and smiled showing it to Jacob

“You’re welcome” he said smiling

“You guys are to kind to me” I wrote on my white board

“You are family Fay” Sean said smiling

“Yea” the guys all agreed

“Thank you” I wrote on the white board
