"I would like to leave now" I say.
"Yes mam" he says.
I grab my clothes and get changed.
"Hayes can you carry me to the car?" I ask.
"Of course baby" he says and scoops me up bridal style.
We check out of the hospital and go home.
"Guys you can all stay over tonight" Dad says.
"Ok" everyone said.
When we get home, Hayes still carries me in his arms and sits on the couch. Shawn sits on my other side.
"You know Sarah," Shawn says "I'm really proud of you"
"Why?" I ask.
"Because you escaped Jack. You were brave." He says stroking my hair
"Thanks" I say
I feel extremely tired. Especially because I haven't slept in two days. I lay my head in Shawn's lap. My eyes slowly shut.
I then hear a voice. Shawn starts singing one of his songs.
"I watch your troubled eyes as you rest,
and I fall in love with every breathe.
I wonder if those eyes are really shut,
and am I the one your dreaming of"
"Cuz' underneath
the darkness
there's a light trying so hard to be seen.
And I know this
cuz it noticed
a little bit shining through the seams." I continue
"And if this is what it takes,
Let me be the one to bare the pain,
Oh and if this is what it takes,
I'll break down these walls that are in our way
If this is what it takes" we sing together
"Wow you have a really good voice!" he says
"Yeah!" Says Hayes
"No I don't" I deny
"Yes you do" they both say
"Well... Thanks then" I say blushing.
"Do you know all my songs?" He asks
"I think I do" I say "I know all the ones from Handwritten. I bought the album." I show him my phone.
"Wow. I don't think you'd know all my songs" he says
"Yeah I like every single one of them." I say
"I can tell" he says "I'll get VIP tickets to my next concert" he winks at me
"No way!" I say springing up
"Yes way" he says
I get up and hug him really tightly
"Thank you" I whisper
"No problem sweetheart." He says
