Macklemore's Thrift Shop ringing loudly from a phone next to my pillow. I know I have to pick it up but my eyes were not negotiable. I sighed showing relief when it stopped ringing. Finally. But then it rang again.
I grabbed my phone and yell "What?!" A high-pitched voice answered my question, Denise. "Is that all you can say?Today's first day of school, dumb-ass. I'm 5 minutes away from your house so you better be ready when I get there.ciao," and she hung up.
It took a while for my brain to process what just happened. My eyes widened. "Shit!" I ran to the bathroom and quickly brush my teeth.
After freshing up, I went to my huge closet and ran a quick scan through all my clothes. I chose to wear a black skinny jeans paired up with white t-shirt that says 'Bitch, please.' on the chest and a studded leather jacket. My iPhone vibrate lightly. It was a text from Denise. 'I'm here. Now get down here and meet your lovely best friends.' I text her back. 'I'll be down in a sec.' After apply light make up and comb my hair, I grabbed my back, wore my shoes and ran downstairs.
Once I got out, I sighted Denise's volvo and walk to it. When I got in, I found Leia sitting at the front seat and Jennifer at the passenger seat. As soon as I closed the door, all four of us gave a girly-happy scream.
"I really miss you guys," I hugged my three best friends.
"we miss you too," Jen smiled at me. "okay okay it's all very touchy and stuff but we gotta go to school," Denise start driving her car.
On our way, we share and tell each other obout summer. "How's Japan?" I grinned to Leia.
"Well, I can't speak the language, and I don't like sushi. But at least it's one of the fashion capital of the world. I can literally wear anything i want. And my mom took me to Vivienne Westwood so, it wasn't bad. How about you Jen?Tell me everything about Bali."
Jen blushed immediately. "well, there's this boy I met at the beach. He's tanned, tall, and hot. But whatever, it's just a short-summer-love. You should see the beach though, it's utterly amazing. What about yours, El?"
"Hmm I don't know where to start. Ask Denise." My parents and Denise' parents, Mr and Mrs Montgomery , are business partner. Both of us ended up in Vegas while they're having business meetings, we decided to rocked Vegas.
Denise shrugged "trust me, you don't wanna hear it. It included some crazy dancing-at-the-table scene and a terrible hungover."
"Hey guys, this is our song !" Denise turn the radio volume up.
It was Icona Pop's I Love It. I freakin love this song. We sang through the song, well, shouted. Hell yea whatever this is our first day on our senior year.
"I CRASHED MY CAR INTO THE BRIDGE I WATCHED , I LET IT BURN"
"I THREW YOUR SHIT INTO A BAG AND PUSHED IT DOWN THE STAIRS"
"I CRASHED MY CAR INTO A BRIDGE"
"I DON'T CARE I LOVE IT. I DON'T CARE"
"YOU WANT ME DOWN ON EARTH BUT I AM UP IN THE SPACE"
"YOU'RE SO DAMN HARD TO PLEASE, WE GOTTA KILL THIS SWITCH"
"YOU'RE FROM THE 70'S BUT I'M A 90'S BITCH!
"I LOVE IT!"

And here we are. The ultra-famous Lincoln High. Despite how ridiculous it sounds, this is one of the top schools in Philadelphia.
I can't believe it's senior year already. I'd imagined high schhol as a place where dreams and reality meet. The jocks, the cheerleaders, crazy night-outs,prom. But since I went here for the first time, 2 years ago, it's pretty much different from what I imagined it to be.
Every day was just the same, normal. And it make me want to get out of this city, go to amazing places, overseas, fall in love. I know this sound cheesy and cliche but it's the truth. Well, at least it's my last year and I planned to go all out.
As soon as we stepped out of the car , everyone was staring at us,literally everyone. Denise grinned at me, "Senior year, bitches." and four of us walked together to the school entrance.
