As soon as we entered the school, many familiar faces welcomed us. Most of the girls just say hi to us and some end up talking to us asking the same questions "how's your summer?" Or "nice handbag" and "how's your parents?" Yeah like you even know them.
Josh Weldon, one of the popular boys, waved at Jen. Brad Wiggington, the quarterback, smiled at Leia. Zack Lefinsky, Brad's bestfriend, said hi to Denise.
And me? Some cheerledaers waved at me but no boys. Yup. Boys see me like i'm a walking tumor. Well, they're nice to me but they never see me as a girl they would date. Sad, huh?
I almost fall when a shoulder bumped me,hard.
It was a tall guy with black hair that fell almost to his shoulders. "Ouch."
But he continued to walk. "What's his problem?"
Jen watched the guy as he walked through crowded hallway "hm. I never saw him. He's pretty cute though." I shot her a glare. "I gotta go to class. see ya at lunch," I walked to my first class, history. Ugh.
My first class are not with my three bestfriends so I guess I'll have to survive Mr.Quentin's class by myself. I sit at the back, next to the window which is my favorite spot.
When Mr. Q walked in, he's not alone. "Good Morning student. Before we start our lesson, I want to introduce someone. This is Austin, he's a transferred student from Chicago and will joining us for the rest of the semester. Mr. Jacobsen you can sit down next to...Ms.White."
Oh God. It's him. The guy who bumped me.
As soon as Mr.Q pointed out the empty seat next to me, Austin's eyes meet mine.
I froze.
I can't read his expression. he walked to the back of the class and sat next to me. "In case you wondering, it's me," I said without looking at him.
I guess I was...scared? When he didn't answer, I look to him and found his expression confused.
"the person you bumped....this morning?but nevermind though." I waited for him to say a word.
"Oh."
That's it?A freakin 'oh'? What's wrong with this guy.
"Class, for your next assignment, I want you to make a paper about French revolution." The whole class murmured. "Oh and for this assignment, I want you to pair up with the person sitting next to you."
Great.
