Maria's P.O.V

The bell rings and that's the time when most of us wake up and we all leave the classroom for recess.

"Finally," I yawn, stretching my arms. "Algebra class is over."

I'm supposedly a good girl who always listens attentively to the teacher, but the things that she discussed earlier, we already learned them last year. When the teacher teaches us new lessons is when I'll stay awake and listen.

I go to the football field and sit on the bleachers to watch how empty it is here. Sports teams start practicing next week.

I take out my hamburger from the paper bag and just when I'm about to take a bite, I realize that it's gone. And there can be only one person who would snatch it away from me.

I turn behind and see him already munching rapidly on the burger. He would always take my snacks away from me since I've first moved here to Hetalia High. He gets fat, but he also does exercise to stay fit. I eat a lot too, but for some reason, I still stay really skinny. No, seriously. I do eat a lot and still stay skinny.

"Hi!" He sits next to me. "Sho, how wash your vacation?"

"It was fun yet really hot, as always." I reply. "How was yours?"

He finishes the hamburger and burps.

"Gross, Alfred!"

He laughs, "Hahah, excuse me. Anyway, my vacation went well. I went to visit my lil' sis in California along with the rest of my younger siblings."

"Lindsey?"

"Yeah, you know her?"

"Of course I do, why wouldn't I? She's one of my closest friends and she's famous too. Why doesn't she come here to Hetalia High, by the way?"

"Actually, she does."

"Really?!"

"Yeah, um... in about a few weeks. She's gonna come here soon, because she'll be taking a break from her career. So, how's Joseph, Vanessa, and Hadji?"

Joseph's P.O.V (Luzon)

"Bwisit! They found us!" I start to panic.

"Kuya, he's just asking Ate Maria how are we." Hadji says.

"I don't mind AlRia, but Mariantonio is better." Vanessa states her opinion.

"SHADDUP, NO ONE ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION." I snap. "I LOVE ALRIA. ALRIA IS LOVE. ALRIA IS LIFE. I SHIP IT SO HARD. I LOVE KUYA ALFRED. SINCE I'M A CATHOLIC, I CAN'T MARRY HIM SO I LET OUR ATE MARRY HIM INSTEAD."

"PISTI KANG BAYOTA KA!!" Vanessa yells, and kicks me, sending me flying to the sky. "DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO YOUR SISTER LIKE THAT!!"

Philippines' P.O.V

I heard noises and familiar voices from behind, so I turn around and see that it's my little siblings. Joseph, Vanessa, and Hadji. Joseph is lying on the ground crying while his younger sister keeps kicking him in the back. Hadji is just laughing.

"Anong nangyari dito?!"

"Ate Maria!" Vanessa and Hadji immediately stand properly and smile at me, while Joseph tries to stand again.

"Vanessa, why are you kicking your kuya? Hadji, why are you laughing at that? Most importantly, anong ginawa niyo dito?"

"I KICKED HIM BECAUSE--"

"GET BACK TOGETHER WITH KUYA ALFREDDDDDD!!"

"I just laughed because it was funny."

"Okay, that's it, the three of you. Go back inside the school building." I point at the door back inside the school building, gesturing them to go back inside. But before they go, I grab Joseph and whisper, "I'm never going back with him, we're better off as friends anyway." then I let him go.

He turns his head and looks at me with an upset look on his face, then he sighs and runs back to Vanessa and Hadji.

"Sorry about them." I sit with Alfred again and smile. "They always cause trouble."

While in the hallway on my way to Calculus class, I walk past Antonio. We made eye contact, but just continued walking and didn't even bother to talk to each other.

We barely talk ever since the break up. I've known him since my first day here and we decided to start dating in my second year of high school, but then we broke up and promised that we would just remain as friends like before.. However, we slowly stopped making contact with each other and it's like we promised to remain strangers instead of friends.

"Do you even remember me?" is what I've been dying to ask him, yet I still don't have the courage to. This is killing me.
