Ask Her

"Farkle!" I say walking up to him.

"Oh, Freak Face!" He sighs.

I laugh, "Hey can I ask you a personal question?"

"Shoot."

"Is Riley okay?" I ask with a stone look on my face. He cracks a smile.

"So you are paying attention to Riley now?" He asks.

"What do you mean?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean ever since we went to Texas she has been different, she has been less talkative, less smiley, not Riley like at all, and it seems like you are the only one she is talking to, I'm afraid to ask Maya so I'm coming to you"

"Well how about you ask her yourself?" He says then walks away.

Algebra is the only class Riley and I have without Maya.  I slip into class directing my eyes onto Riley. Her eyes are chocolate, her hair falling on her back, long in the back not curled, she is truly beautiful, I sit behind her.

"Hey."

Riley POV:

"Hey" I say, he is so cute, with his brown half button up shirt with his neatly done hair, with eyes you could jump in to.

"How are you Riley?" He asked.

"I'm good!" I am lying.

Lucas POV:

She is lying.

"Are you sure? It seems like something happened, anything you wanna talk about?"

She shakes her head "Lucas, I am perfectly fine!"

"I wanna talk." I say.

"We are talking." she says smiling nervously.

"No like actually talk. Me and you. Alone, about where our relationship is at the moment"

"Oh, okay I guess, how is Friday?" She asks.

"Perfect!" I say smiling brightly, she looks at me and smiles back, then our Algebra teacher starts class.
