"What do you think they are talking about?" I ask Zay.
"I don't know, but I don't like it" he frowns, it's hilarious.
"You are really into Maya aren't you?"
"Well it's not a secret anymore so why hide something obvious?"
"I guess not" I say laughing.
Maya POV
"Lucas..."
"Maya I know what you're going to say and I know you still like me, and..."
"Lucas you stop! I know you like Riley."
"What?" He blushes like crazy.
"And I don't like you anymore, we were good at making fun of each other, but not to good at being with each other. We tried to be a couple but we couldn't even talk to each other. I don't want that." He grins "Your my brother Lucas, and I'm your sister."
"That's what you know we are?" He says saying what he had said to Riley in Texas, but more like that's what he had wanted all along, for me to be his sister. I know now that he is my brother, I tease him like a brother, we protect each other, brother and sister, it seems so right, because it is.
"That's what I know we are" and I lightly kiss his cheek. "Now go tell Riley how you feel" He jogs out the room, this feels good, like how things used to be. Riley, Lucas, Farkle, me, and now Zay. He was crying over me...I wonder why. I think he might....like me? Not possible. I shake my head and walk out the room.
