Our remaining teen years were spent back and forth, but we managed to at least see each other during summers and most holidays. I began going to a private christian school in the mountains of Grundy, Virginia and lived on campus. I spent most weekends at home with my father and step mother and altho I missed home, the school gave me a foundation I had never had before. It was a constant stability of education, family, friends and spiritual guidance. My father and step mother had two more children, which I loved more than life. I would spend hours reading to them or playing books on my youngest siste'rs Teddy Ruxpin or Glow worm and listen to her giggle for days. As much as I loved them I still missed my sister Heather horribly. We fought like crazy and loved each other even more. The summer of the start of my senior year, I spent at home with my dad and other 2 siblings just hanging out enjoying the break. When it was time to return, I walked up to my dorm floor and several girls were waxing floors, spring cleaning and I turned to see a girl who looked very familiar to me even though her back was turned to me. I knew i knew her from somewhere because her voice was oddly familiar to me. She turned and to my surprise, my sister Heather was right in front of my face!
