"Laurence have you seen Garroth?" I asked. "Now that you mention it, no I have not" " I wonder if he is just out doing his duties." I said. I'm kinda worried although I didn't want Laurance to think I was. "He'll show up" Laurance said almost like he could tell that I was worried. "I know..." My thoughts trailed off.
That night..

Laurance kissed my forehead and told me not to worry, that if he wasn't back by morning we would search for him. I went up to Levins room ( they haven't found Malachi yet) and sang him a lullaby. " Hush little baby don't say a word, mommas gonna by you a mocking bird and if that mocking bird don't sing...." He was fast asleep. " you sing beautiful" said a Familiar voice. I turned around, it was Laurance. What is he doing here so late at night? " T-thank you" I said blushing. He walked up to me. "Why are you blushing?" He said. "I-I.. Um.." "Hehehe" he laughed, " come on there is nothing to hide, is there?" He still had that smile on his face, I couldn't tell if he was serious or not.
