Chapter 5

It's been 2 whole weeks and I haven't seen Carson at school, he hasn't called me, and whenever I go to his house he seems to not be there. I keep thinking to myself "Does he love me? Does he love me not?" If he loved me why wouldn't he call me? Is he cheating on me? I got sick to my stomach. We weren't actually dating but why wouldn't he be at school. He was in my Science class I would have to see him at school. My mom came into my room, " Hey honey, you have to get up and go to school I'm leaving in 30 minutes. " she said. " You know i;m not up for school today can I stay home and get some rest I really don't feel good today?" I asked my mom. " Sure honey I'll be home around 5 don't go anywhere." "Okay mom. Bye Love you." Piper said.

It was 2:56 pm and all I've done is eat and sleep. I can't stop thinking of Carson. I have a lot of questions for that boy. It's now 3:56 pm and I've been doing the same thing over and over eating, sleeping, and dreaming that Carson will soon show up. I just don't understand why would he leave? We had such a great time. I soon got up and went on a short walk down to where we had first met. I saw Carson's mom pull her car up beside me. She rolled down the window. "Get in fast!" I jumped in the car as fast as I could. "What's going on?" I asked very worried. "We found him." she said. I couldn't breathe after that. I started to cry, I again felt sick. Alice rushed to her house. When we got there she hurried me to Carson's bedroom.

She opened the door and I dropped to the floor and started to bawl. In his very room Carson had hung himself on an old crusted rope. On his desk lay a suicide note that read, "Dear No one, I've had enough of this sick, cruel, twisted world. I've locked myself in my room, and now these will be my last words. I could not escape from the ignorance I get from all of you. Tell Piper that I lo..." the note ended. Still crying I also could not breathe. I couldn't believe this.

About 2 hours later my mom showed up and started to cry as well as the rest of us. We didn't know what to do besides call 911. They showed up and what was surprising is that one of the police officers had brought the video me and Carson took to the police station. They gave it to Alice and as she watched it she was confused on why they had giving to her. "What about this, I need you here for my son that hung himself. " she said. "Is this your sister?" he asked. "What I don't know I don't know , I couldn't see. " Alice said back to the police officer. "Watch it again." he said. So she watched again but closer this time. Oh my God!! Yes yes that's my sister. No one ever knew how she died but here it is. I need this tape I need to show my mom. " she said. " Here, we will need this back in order to finish this case. " he said.

A little while when everything was quiet I decided to say something, "That was in my room," "What do you mean Piper? What are you talking about?" Alice asked. "That tape. I found it in my room when we moved. I started unpacking and I caught a glimpse of it in the corner of my room where the video was taped from, when I saw it I went to pick it up to watch it. That night when I went to sleep I kept hearing noises so I woke up. When I woke up I saw letters written on my mirror that said, Get out in all caps. Then I heard in a whisper, "Get out". I didn't know who it was but when I heard that I went to my moms room to sleep. The next day when Carson came over I showed him and e decided to take the video to the police. He recognized that it was his aunt. I'm so sorry but we have to find the guy who did it because he's still out there. " said Piper.

Alice needed to go to bed a lot has happened today. Me and my mom went home, and Carson's dad went to the grave yard. I have no idea why but he did. When we got home I ran upstairs and sat on my bed in the dark. I rocked back and forth , put my head to my knees and said, "If only I was your girl, If only I was your girl, If only I was His girl...
