"M-ma aniwula," I squatted and greeted in dagbani.

"N-naa," Mom responded. "What took you so long today, its almost seven pm."

"Nothing, I just enjoyed playing more today." I lied.

"And have you prayed already?"

"Yes mom. I prayed at the mosque near the school. Where's Chentiwuni."

"She's doing the dishes in the kitchen."

"Chenti!" The echo in the room doubled the sound as I called her.

"Hey bro." She said in a deep voice and I laughed.

"See how difficult it is to emulate a guy huh?" I teased.

"How was practice? Should I even call it practice if you play so well already."

"Haha. It was fun." I grinned.

"Hey, you never mention that word whenever I ask you."

"Well, maybe its really fun today." I shrugged and tried to hide my excitement.

"You're hiding something....its all over your face." She eyed me.

I know if I don't tell her, she would always find a way to get it out of me.

"Fine," I sighed. "I will tell you but....serve me in my room first."

She glared at me and turned back to the dishes in the sink.

"You never give out for free, do you?"

I laughed and walked to my room. I kept smiling as I changed into a jean short and tank top. The moment I sat on the bed, I heard a tap on the door.

"Your food is here." Chenti called and knocked.

"Quit knocking and come in. Don't break my door."

She walked in and set a tray on my nightstand and patiently watched me eat. When I was done, I intentionally said goodnight and lay on the bed.

"Don't give me that crap." She sat up on the couch.

"Huh?"

"You promised!" She raised her finger

"Noooww...I didn't."

"Then I'm gonna force it..."

"Heeeyy..." I cut her off. "I'm gonna tell you, just sit back."

She sat down and folded her hands over her chest while shaking her legs impatiently.

"I met this girl today."

"MmmMMmm..." She wiggled her brows. "And?"

"She's a nice girl...I really enjoyed talking to her."

"Aaannd?"

"And that's all I have for you." I laughed and she frowned. "Okay...honestly, there was this umm...this thing I felt. I don't know. You won't understand."
