DIPPER'S POV | Written Nov 11, 2015
"B-Bill, no," I stammer, blushing heavily as I get into my right mind. "S-stop."
"Sorry," he mumbles, pulling away from my neck -- of which had to be littered with hickies by now. "I uh, I got a little carried away."
"It's cool," I say, propping myself on my elbows. "We just go-"
"DIPPER PINES!"
Both Bill and I turn our attention to the door, seeing a squealing Mabel and... Oh no.
"Hello, Pacifica," I say coldly, my face dropping into an expression of disgust.
"Dipper," she replies, nodding her head in acknowledgement.
"Broseph, I need to have a talk with you right now!" Mabel shouts, bolting toward me. She attempts to pull me off the bed, but Bill isn't budging. Not one bit.
"Err- Shooting Star?" Bill chimes, gesturing toward himself. Mabel lets go of my hand, blushing slightly.
"Oh, oh, oohhhhh," she blurts out quickly. "Were we interrupting something?"
"No, yo-"
"Yes," Bill says, cutting me off.
"Dip-Dop, we're talking after tonight!" Mabel grins slyly as she waltzes out of the room. "SLEEPOVER TIME!!"
"Oh lord..." I trail off, letting myself fall back on to the bed.
"Everything okay, Pine Tree?" Bill asks, moving himself to lay next to me.
"Can't you just read my mind?" I mumble, turning on my side to face him.
"I could," he confirms, pulling me closer. "But I don't like to. I don't want to invade your privacy, kid."
"Pacifica is my ex-girlfriend," I sigh, nuzzling my head in the crook of his neck. I take a few moments to breathe, trying to calm myself. "And she's a total nut."
"Ah," he says in acknowledgement.
"What else can you do?" I ask, wrapping my arms around his waist. "Like, as a demon."
"Dream demon, Pines," he chuckles. I roll my eyes at his correction. "And I can do lots of things. Lots of things."
I flinch at the sudden demonic voice emitting from his mouth, my eyes widening in fear. I end up accidentally throwing myself off of the bed, landing on the floor with a loud thump! and probably a huge bruise on my head.
"I didn't mean to scare you," Bill says softly, frowning. He swiftly gets off the bed and holds out his hand. I hesitate to grab him, still startled. "Please, trust me." I gulp, shaking slightly as I grab his hand.
He helps me sit up, and I groan in dull, aching pain. "I'm sorry, Pine Tree," he frowns, pulling me into a gentle hug. I nod slowly.
"Everything okay in her-" I hear Grunkle Ford say, but he pauses. Bill and I glance over at the door, once again. "Uhh, should I be concerned?"
"Nope, everything's all good Sixer," Bill replies and stands up, pulling me up with him. "Pine Tree just got scared and fell, that's all."
"Pine Tree? Sixer?" Ford says, pondering the thought. His expression began at confusion, but grew to realisation and anger. "Bill..."
"Hey, Stanford Pines," Bill grins, "my old pal!"
"Get. Out," Ford hisses through gritted teeth. My gaze flicks between the two.
"Ford, Ford, stop, it's okay," I say quickly, trying to stop the stare-down before it escalates into a show-down.
"Dipper, not now," he says angrily. "Cipher, you don't belong here! Leave before I get my ray gun!"
"Ford, please!" I beg, trying to get him to at least listen to me.
"So be it, Sixer," Bill says moments later. I frown.
"Bill, don't leave me!" I cry out, wrapping my arms around his waist tightly.
"Dipper, let go of him! He's dangerous and manipulative!" Ford shouts angrily. I shake my head.
"I won't," I state, closing my eyes to prevent any tears of sadness and anger from spilling from the brims. "Not to the ends of the Earth."
