"Rockin around the christmas tree, at the christmas party hop", blared from the stereo.

My mum yelled up the stairs, "Allie, Meagan, Connor, Devan, and Kaylie! Come downstairs!!!"

I pulled my elf hat on over my dark blonde, blue, and purple braids and ran down the hall pounding on each door. As I ran, each door opened a few seconds later revealing a bunch of kids charging down the hall and sliding down the banister of the stairs. I looked at the Christmas countdown on the wall next to the stairs. December 20th, 5 days until Christmas.I picked up Devan while Meagan threw Connor over her shoulder and, Kaylie trailing behind us into the den where the Christmas tree was standing, branches bare as the trees outside in Winter. A torn, damp Amazon.com box was sitting on the floor, full to the top with old ornaments. Most of them were broken.

"When will the tree not be naked?" Devan squeaked.

I almost dropped to the ground in laughter because I've never heard him say that... It's not a typical response from a 4 year old.. My mom looked at us and rolled her eyes before speaking

."That's why I called you guys down here... We're going to get new decorations...Get your coats and boots.. Kaylie you take Devan, I'll take Connor."

We ran back upstairs and bundled up. I pulled my tan uggs over my penguin pajama pants, and zipped up my purple winter coat. Grabbing my iPhone which was decked out with a penguin case, I ran back downstairs. Everyone was all bundled up, so we sprinted out the front door, into the snow that was falling, and over to the Explorer. I put Devan in his booster seat, and Connor just climbed in on the other side. I always sit between them, it's not OCD, they're just picky and Meagan always calls shot gun because she's the oldest, even though we're twins, which annoys me. Kaylie sat in the middle where there was only one open seat, as the other one was folded down to make room for the decorations. Meagan locked the doors from the inside to mess with Mum. But unfortunately for her, Mum won because she had the remote on the keys.

"OH! That is so not fair..." Meagan protested.

We pulled out of the driveway and off to the shops in London. Kaylie plugged her iPod into the stereo and the drum beat of 5 Seconds of Summer's song Heartbreak Girl filled the car. When we pulled up to the shops, we turned the car off and got out. I took the stroller out of the boot and put Devan inside, putting the seatbelt across his lap. Meagan was dragging a drowsy Kaylie through the carpark. After walking into the shops we went directly towards the Christmas section. After a while Devan started crying. I pulled the stroller to the side and pulled Devan out of his seat.

"What's wrong Domo?", I cooed, calling him by his nickname.

"Tiuured" he babbled back.

"Naww poor baby." I cooed, as I put him back in the stroller. We started walking again, I was talking to Devan so he'll sleep. After about 10 minutes he was asleep. Connor was playing with his gameboy so he was occupied. After shopping for about an hour the carraige was filled with decorations and last minute christmas presents.
