"Well I guess I should get going then." I mumbled quietly to myself. While I walked I singled quietly to myself and I ended up at a small café. I opened the door and I went up to the counter and ordered a vanilla bean frappe, then I sat at a table. A few moments later I noticed someone sit in the eat in front of me. It was a pale boy with blonde hair gelled up in a very nice quiff.
"Hi?" I ask looking up from my phone. "Hey!" says the boy. "I'm Luke. I haven't seen you around here before." "Im Scarlette, and I just moved here from Indiana." I smile sweetly. "Oh, well how have you been liking little old Sydney so far?" Luke asks. "It's very beautiful here. I think that im going to like it here." I say honestly. "Well that's good. Do you have any friends here yet?" asks Luke. "No not yet..." I laugh nervously. "Well you can chill with me! Well if that's what you want!!" Luke tells me with his eyes wide. "Yeah, i'd like that." "Okay, well I have to go but ill
catch you later. Bye Scarlette!" "Bye, Luke!!" Wow he seemed nice. I finished up my frappe and decided that I should look at more of the town. I walked out of the café and headed to what seemed like a park? A sat on a swing and started thinking about what school would be like tomorrow.
An hour later I decided to walk back home. I arrived at my house and I walked in and closed the door behind me. I walked into my kitchen to see my mom and Sam sitting at the kitchen table. "Scarlette good you're home! Dinner's ready." "Sorry im a little late mom. What are we having?" "We ordered pizza tonight dear." Yes!!!" I half yelled. It's been a while since I ate pizza. "How was your walk Scar? Did you have fun?" my mom asked. "It was great mom I went to a café and ordered me a frappe. Oh! and I also met a new friend!" I stated. "Really?! Who?" "His name is Luke and he asked if I was new here. It was small talk but it was nice, he asked us to be friends." I smiled at my mom. "What about you Sammy did you meet someone?" my mom started throwing questions at Sam. "Yea. I met Jordan our neighbor. He's 19 too." Sam tells my mom.
"Thanks for the pizza mom. I think im gonna take a shower and head to bed goodnight." I kissed my mom and Sam on the cheek. "Goodnight Scar." she coos. "G'night Scar" yells Sam as I head up the stairs. I walk into my bathroom and I run the shower. I undress and hop in the shower. I start to wash my hair and my body and I shave my legs. I go into my dresser and pick out some Victoria Secret boy shorts, a Nike sports bra, some grey sweatpants, and a mint colored sweater.
I crawled in my bed and closed my eyes thinking about my new friend.
