The next morning when I went downstairs, all were already there. Even Alison. The one that usually needs hours in the bath and comes out just like she went in. It's a mystery what she's doing in it. In short, if Alison gets in bath before you come, you're fucked. "Morning" I muttered and sat down on my sit next to my mother.
"Morning Delilah, what do you need for breakfast?" my mother said.
"I'm not hungry, thanks." Just another thing she should know, I never eat breakfast. I sometimes really feel like she doesn't even care a bit for me. "You were late yesterday" I said and looked at Alison. "I went to bed lately and you came after."
"Maybe..." she said very quiet, almost whispering. I don't know how someone spend such a long time with someone like Greg.
"Do you even know what we will do this summer?" I asked her with a fake smile and a fake happiness in my voice.
"Yeah, don't you dare to talk to me about that." she answered and looked pungently at Mom and Dad. They just stired their coffee like nothing happened, pretending it isn't such a big thing. Probably just because Amy and Morgan were also at the table. I excactly know Dad would justify himself if they weren't. I bet it will come this afternoon.
With this 10 words, Alison killed the conversation and the atmosphere in the room. It became way too awkward to me so I left the room and went upstairs to take my school back and my phone.
I went downstairs and said "Bye!" as I went past the kitchen door outisde.
As I just arrived the bus stop, I saw the bus already coming. When I entered, all I heard was "Where's Alison?"
"Not in the bus. Calm down. Good morning by the way." I said and rolled my eyes. Why is everything about Alison? I bet they don't even know my name, or know that she's my sister. "Hey" I sat down between John and Kylie who obviously too busy to talk.
"But why don't you? You said you will be free for the whole summer!" John said and I heard confusion and anger in his voice.
"God I know this! But what can I do if my parents..." - "Uhm what's going on here guys?" I interrupted Kylie.
"Nothing, except that Miss Primes doesn't has time this summer." John said annoyed.
"I'm sorry, but my parent really want me to visit my grandparents with them!" she argued.
"Calm down John, it's the same like my parents did to me."
Kylie looked at me confused; "Why? What happened excactly? John just told me they want you to go to your uncle's."
I told her the story and she listened carefully while John ate an apple. He ever had to eat when something annoyed him, it's a weird obsession and it can be very annoying. But people still like him. To be honest, I don't know anyone who doesn't like him. Except Zoey who called him a "creep" lately.
"So, why don't you go with John alone? Honestly I don't matter for this." she said after I finished.
"Yeah, I think he will anyway. But you do matter, I mean what should I do if..." I stopped for a minute to think about a good 'what if', "uhm... if they have... a dog."
John and Kylie looked at me like I just ate the shit of a dog from the street. "Eh I mean, if they don't allow me to hear music?"
"Then John will give you some the end. Let's don't talk about this anymore." Kylie said fastly
"What? Kylie you are talking such a crap I'm serious." I said and I swear I never felt more serious and confused.
"You know excactly what I said Mrs Delilah Winston. Someday you will marry anyway, I swear." she explained and sipped on her bottle. "Delilah Winston"? Wow, she's already giving me his last name. How sick can a girl get? Honestly, it's so absurd.
