Life of a fangirl [SEVENTEEN FANFIC]

Chapter 1 : The move

It was a usual Monday, I forget to bring my test papers back in and now I'm stuck in detention day dreaming about nonsense, as I kept day dreaming my teacher snapped her bony witch fingers at me, " Gaeun Oh pay attention" My teacher screeched and swear at that moment I became deaf. She smirked at the rain coming down hard outside and turned to me. "You walk home don't you?" She asked like she was oblivious to the fact she always sees me walking the way she goes in her car. "Yes." I said bluntly and watched the clock tick ever so slowly.

By the time I got home I looked like horrific with my eyeliner now all over my face. "Mum I'm home" I called as I slammed the door shut behind me. "Eun-ah how come you're so late,did you get detention again?" My mum asked as she lent on the wall with her arms crossed. I gave the usual excuse of how the teacher had it in for me. "You know I've been looking for jobs?" I nodded as I bit into an apple and sat on the kitchen counter. "Well we will have to move..." My heart sank and honestly tears were gathering up in my eyes causing everything to go bleary, I hardly cry but this means starting again in a new school and making new friends. I've only just started to be myself around the friends I've got. "Is this a sick joke?" I frowned and by my mum giving me a tight hug I knew it was true. "I'm Sorry GaEun, We're leaving next week to South Korea."

After hearing the news I couldn't do anything but scream in my pillow. I rang my best friend Ally and told her everything, I couldn't understand her with the sniffing and crying. I felt awful but this wasn't my fault. "I know I'm upset but we can skype every night and you've still got Teri and Jason, I know that won't help anything because they're a bunch of annoying twats." I joked and making her laugh. "I'll miss you Eun-ah." She cried.

The day came round faster than I wanted and it was hard to say goodbye to everyone I gave Ally,Teri and Jason big hugs; I couldn't seem to let go of them they had been there at times were I felt like dying.They truly were the best friends I could wish for. I promised I wouldn't cry but how can I not? At one point I sworn I saw a tear down Jason's face. "Don't forget me" I warned, they all nodded in agreement and I got into the car when my mum called me over. Starting new will be hard but maybe this is what I needed? All I can hope is that it was faith.

When we arrived in Korea we were greeted by the warmth and my cousins Yoon HaRu and Yoon MaRu, I had a lot of things to catch up to with them both on the way to their house, They were both being suspicious but I didn't question it. They opened the door for me and my mum to enter their home, I couldn't see anything with the lights off but in seconds the lights came on and the whole family jumped up, I jumped in fright but not as my much as my mum to screamed. "Welcome!" they all shouted and came over to greet us all. I missed them so much.

We spent the next four hours talking after we thought it was time we left and when to our new home it was just 15 minutes away from their house which is pretty good. As our car was coming into the driveway all I could see was a medium sized modern house. I walked in carrying several boxes.

"Hun your rooms upstairs the second one on the left" my mum told me and I couldn't wait to see it. All I was hoping was it to be bigger than my old one which was a small boxed room.

I opened the door to my bedroom it was enormous. I dropped the boxes to the side and couldn't help myself but jump onto a the king sized bed. I had new furniture which was ten times better than what I had in England. After hearing my mother shouting up to help out with the rest of my siblings I ran downstairs to get my other boxes. I stumbled on toys my younger siblings Nari and Sungjae already got out and started to play with. I huffed I wished they were like my older brother Hyungsik I only saw him come out his room when he wanted food.

After I had brought all the boxes from the vans to my room I was wiped out from all the excitement and rush today, I thought I would miss England but Korea is already so much better but I don't think I can face my first day in a new school.

In the morning I was woken up by Nari at 6am "Nari what are you doing I don't have school till 8.30" I mumbled as I covered my ears with a pillow. "Well mum said to get you up because she knew you would wake up late" she replied in a snotty way. "Get out my room" I moaned and thrown a spare pillow at Nari who ran out of my room. I finally got up to brush my teeth and do my make up. It took me awhile to style my hair, I had to please people but with the help from my mum my hair was curled. I only had five minutes before the bus came so I rushed downstairs to grab breakfast and finally left with my brother. I sat down and put in my headphones listening to Skarfs new album as it was blasting away I noticed a boy walking he looked familiar but I don't remember where I saw him from he was wearing the same uniform as me.

I wonder if he's famous since I'm going to seoul performing arts high school, I read online only minutes ago from leaving school that loads of kpop idols go there, I could meet Krystal or become best friends with Suzy. I carried on day dreaming until my oppa grabs my arm and pulls me off the bus, "Gaeun-ah stop day dreaming next time or I'll leave you on the bus!" My brother scolded me.

I followed him behind to the main entrance until he disappeared into the crowd. There's me completely lost no idea where to go until a girl came to the rescue. She asked if I was new and I nodded. She took me to the school office the teacher told me I was in Room 2B and the girls who took me there introduced herself as Hyeri Bae she was in Room 2B too.

As I walked in and my form tutor introduced me to the class, as she was doing so I looked around the class there he was the boy from this morning. He sat by the window with head phones in as he stared out the window. My teacher pointed to the only empty seat which was next to him. "I'm Oh Gaeun I just moved here from England and you are?" I asked him but he ignored me. I faced the front embarrassed. The boy behind me tapped my shoulder and I turned to to face him, "don't worry about him just cos he's a star he thinks he's better than everyone else" I scoffed. "So he's a star? I don't even know who he is." I turned to the front. swear in the corner of my eye I saw the boy looking my way.
