Magandang Buhay! Ako po pala si Lorraine. Labing-walong taong gulang. Hindi gaano maputi, katamtaman ang height at timbang. But people called me 'Miss Popular' since I'm the most popular student here. At ang maingay kong bestfriend na si Rose Cuevas. Bestfriend ko siya since nong nasa high school kami.
Naglakad akung papunta sa room, third year college na ako at ang aking bestfriend sa isang private school and I'm taking BSED-Math as my course. Maaga pa lang ang dami ng tao sa school. Bakit? May program ba? Dumaan ako sa hallway tapos nakita ko ang isang lalake na bago pala sa school namin.
"Bestfriend!!! Have you seen it?!" salubong sakin ni Rose.
"Ang ano?!" Pabulong kong sigaw.
"Yung bagong transferee girl" sagot ni Rose.
"Ahh! Oo nakita ko" dedma na sagot ko.
"Hehehe!" tapos nag peace sign siya sa cheeks sa akin tapos umupo na siya sa upuan niya.

"Lorraine, he's here. I already texted you, aren't you informed?" salubong ni Rose sakin as my eyes widened seeing the nerd in our room!
"Unfortunately, Madam, Mrs. L put him beside you."
"What?!?!?!" pasigaw kong bulong. This is not really my day. Oh gosh.
I sat beside the nerd, and ugh, he is a pain in my eyes!!! Wearing those big eyeglasses with his disgusting wet look hair style! OMG! Like he's in the 16th century!
"Good morning class, may bago kayong classmate, he's a transferee from San. Juan "
"What? From the squatters?" bulong nung mga tao sabay tingin kay boy.
"How can he get in here?" sabi pa nung isa.
"Quiet class! He's a full scholar since he's intelligent! Okay? So mister, kindly introduce yourself."
"Ako si Lorence Torres." Yun lang?
"Tell us more." Sabi ni Mrs. L.
"Uh, 19 years old. BSED-Math ang course ko."
"Pareho kami?!? Magkaklase pala kami sa lahat ng subjects?!" pabulong na tanung ko.
"Likes and dislikes?" tanong ni Mrs. L.
"Mahilig po ako sa Math at weakness ko ang Science."
"Girl! Pariho kayo" pabulong na sabi ni Rose sa akin.

LUNCH BREAK. . .
"Look, girl, he's Lorence, you're Lorraine." Tapos tumawa si Rose.
"So?"
"Ang funny kaya! Hahahaha! Coincidence or what? Hihi. You're both into Math and hates Science! Ang galing!!!" manghang mangha si Rose.
"OMY!!! Baka soulmate kayo girl" tapos nag order si Rose.
"But he's exactly opposite of me!"
"You mean, he's a nerd and poor, and you're popular and rich?"
"Exactly!" I'm mean, I know. But I'm stating the truth.
NO! That soulmate thingy isn't true! That nerd is definitely not my soulmate!
Papunta na kami sa next class namin, which is College Algebra, at kaklase ko siya!
Buti na lang may vacant seats pa.
"So who wants to solve this on the board?" syempre nagtaas ako ng kamay. Pero this time, may kasabay ako. Si nerd!!!
"So, the two of you. The one who'll finish first will have the credits."
Tumayo na ako. Hinahamon ako nitong nerd na 'to ah.
"Time starts now."
I started solving. It's easy pero mahaba. I looked at him, relax lang siya. Lalo tuloy akong nainis!
"So Mister Torres is finished."
I dropped the whiteboard marker.
"What?! What?! For the first time, Miss Rabaya was defeated. I am defeated by a nerd?!"

Weeks had passed. I'm so pissed off because of that freako. Tinalo na nya ako kahit saan. Nakakainis!!!
"Oh girl, you're both in white today!"
"What?!"
Pero may nagbago sakanya, sa buhok nya. Hindi na to kadiri, parang naayos. Nung nakatingin ako sa kanya, may naramdaman akong kakaiba. Parang ang gaan.
"HOY! Anong ginagawa mo girl?!" sigaw na tanong sakin ni Rose.
"Ah wala. Papasok na ako!" tapos dali-dali akong umalis.
Hindi ko maintindihan ang nararamdaman ko, ergh. Masama ito. Bakit kanina habang tinitingnan ko siya, parang may nagbago, medyo pumuti sya, tapos nag iba yung hairstyle nya, tapos parang numipis yung kilay nya. Matangos pala ang ilong nya at manipis ang labi. Ngayon ko lang napansin. Maganda rin pala ang mata nya pag malapitan, kulay hazelnut brown. Parang hindi siya si nerd.
Ano ba tong nararamdaman ko?!
