*Kyo P.O.V*

The next morning, the villagers were repairing the damages that where made by the demon. Kaede was banging my wound from where the demon had bit me.

"How's that?" She asked.

"It's alright" I said with a smile. Kaede then washed her hands in a wood bucket. I let my shirt fall back into it's place.

I look down in shame. " I'm really sorry for all the trouble I've caused here" I said and bowed my head to show respect.

"Ye, don't need to worry. It is alright" She said and dried her hands.

Kaede then started talking to me about the Jewel. After she was done talking, I looked over at Inuyasha who was laying on the floor with his back towards me.

"So why are you here dog?" I asked rudely.

"I'm waiting for the jewel of course" he replied.

"Ha, with those beads around your neck you ain't getting shit..And another thing..Why do you even need the Jewel anyways. I mean your already strong enough?" I said wanting to know.

"Huh. It's cause his a half-demon" Kaede said and stood up with the wood bucket under her arm.

*Bam*

I rolled my eyes ' Anger issues much' I thought. As I look at now broken floor.

"You've been going on like that since earlier. Do you know me or something?" Inuyasha asked.

"Ye don't recognize me do you?....But that's not surprising" Kaede sighed.

"I am the younger sister of Kikyou, The one who sealed you away..... I am Kaede" she said.

"Kaede....?"

"It has been fifty years since then...So I have aged as well" Kaede said.

"Hmmm..So you're that brat huh....Which means Kikyou is a old hag as well? at lest I ain't gotta worry about that anytime soon" Inuyasha said.

"Kikyou is dead. It was that same day, that you where sealed"

I looked over at Inuyasha and saw a little hurt in his eyes.

"Jeez sorry to hear it, not that I really care or nothing" Inuyasha said and lay on his side again.

"It's one last thing for me to worry about" Inuyahsa said.

"I won't let my grad down just yet Inuyahsa. I now know that Kyo is the reincarnation of my sister"

"What!?" I said and jump up and pointed to myself.

"And it isn't just because ye resemble her. The Jewel of The Four Souls was in your body. That alone is proof enough..It's up to ye now child to take over it's protection" Kaede said.

I was lost for words.

"This can't be....You must be wrong?" I said confused.

"No child I am not. Ye must now protect the Jewel from any seekers who wish to use its power for evil" Kaede said.

I looked down and held my locket that my friends back at home gave me. I held onto my locket tightly and looked up at Kaede.

"I....I need to get some fresh air......I'll be back" I said and walked out the hut.

'Why is this happening to me?.....' I thought as I walked around the Village.

'I mean just a couple of days ago I was hanging with my friends....Doing street races....Skipping school...The usual....Now I gotta take care of this Jewel from demons......This is so unreal?......I mean this only happens in Manga's and Anime's....Not in real life....Right?.....' I rubbed my head in annoyance.
