Chapter 10

Lauren's POV

"Lauren! Wake up!" Ally's scream wake me up from my deep slumber.

"Five more minutes" I said snuggling on my blanket.

Then it was forcefully pulled out to me, I obliged to sat up. I looked at the clock and it says 7:00 am.

"Ally its only 7 in the morning why did you wake me up this early?" I asked her.

"Its not only you, the rest also, we have a meeting with Simon at 8 am" she said then walk away to wake others up.

I dragged myself out of the bed, deciding to take a shower.

After I showered, I changed into high waisted acid washed jean short, black tank top and red flannel, and I wore white converse and a beanie. The I make my way downstairs.

"Good morning" I greeted the girls.

"Good morning" Camila, Dinah and Normani greeted tiredly.

"Good morning! Pancakes everyone?" Ally greeted cheerfully.

"Ugh Ally why are you so cheerful early in the morning, are you not tired?" Dinah said tiredly.

"I'm tired too, but i'm excited because in this meeting with Simon, we will talk about when we release our first ever album" she said and that makes us squeal in delight our tiredness disappeared.

"I am so excited for this, I hope that we will start our own tour, opening act for Demi lovato is really cool also but its a great achievement when we will have our own tour" ally said.

"Yeah, but did you notice that it seems like something was off with simon the past three days" Camila noted.

"I noticed that too, he seems worried about something" normani also said agreeing to Camila.

"Maybe simon was just stressed out" Dinah said I nodded agreeing to Dinah.

"Maybe, come on girls Big Rob is gonna be here any minute now" Ally said, then right on cue we heard a car honk outside,

"Big rob is here, come on now" ally said.

We entered the van and during the car ride we just jam on our new music until we reached the SyCo building.

We greeted Fiona when we entered, she gave us a small smile, that's so strange, Fiona always gave us a mood lifting smile always, but today her worry lines is more visible, its like she's worried for someone.

We entered at the conference room, simon is waiting for us there,

"Hello girls, how are you" Simon greeted us with his thick British accent.

"We're good, we're excited for our first album to be released" Ally squealed and we laughed at ally's childish antics.

Simon laughed, "yeah sit down ladies" simon motioned us to sit and we sat down,

"This meeting is about the release of your very first album entitled reflecti-" but Simon was cut off when the conference room opened and Fiona entered panting,

"Sir they found them" she said, we looked at them in confusion.

Simon stood up and looked at Fiona with relief, "they have? When?" Simon asked

"Just now but they are not in good condition" Fiona said we are really puzzled

"Sorry girls we are going to continue this some other time, something came up, I apologize" simon apologized to us.

"Its okay simon" Ally said then simon go out with Fiona.

"Wow what just happened?" Dinah asked.

"I don't know, but I think a member of Simon's family went missing?" Camila said not so sure.

"So guys we are free today, who's up for some movie marathon?" Ally asked.

"Yes movie marathon it is, let's go back to our place" Dinah said and we went out of the conference room.

Rob was waiting for us on the van, we entered the van and rob drove us home.

I am really curious of what's happening with simon,

"Big rob, what's wrong with simon? Why is he so worried when he got out of the conference room?" I can't help but ask.

The girls looked at me then to rob waiting for answer.

"He's worried because his neice and nephew went missing" Rob said and we all gasped.

"Poor little kids" Normani said.

Rob laughed, we looked at him in confusion why is he laughing, that was not a laughing matter.

"They are not kids anymore, his nephew was already 20 years old and Simon's neice is already 19 years old" rob said and Normani blushed in embarrassment. But we didn't laughed.

"They are member of the Navy seals and went into a mission in Syria, then they didn't able to contact her team and declared missing, three days later one of the member of her team showed up on the US military base, with wounds and asked for rescue for the rest" rob told us and we all gasped again, that's why simon was so stressed out the past three days.

"And who's she? And why did you say her team?" Camila asked

"Oh Simon's neice was the captain of that squad, I heard she's a great leader, and she's the youngest among her team members" rob said, then I remembered something, the girl from the bar, she's hanging out with men in their mid early and mid- twenties of age, I shook the thought off because it can't be her.

"Wow that's amazing" normani commented.

"Yeah but we'll pray for Simon and for them also" Ally said and we just nodded our head.

I just leaned my head on the window, thinking of that girl from the bar, where is she now.
