Chapter 5

I then saw a red blaze on the horizon where my house stood. I could then here water running and firetruck sirens mixed in with it all. Oh.god.no....

I couldn't believe It...

My house...

My home...

MY EVERYTHING!!!

It was up in a blaze of smoke right before my eyes. After regaining my sense of the situation I directed my eyes to the ambulance on the other side of the yellow tape. I began to squint through the smoke and make out Charlies figure with an ice pack on his head.I then ran to him.

"Wha...How...Are you ok Charlie?" I began to stutter and shake

"River I'm 100% Fine, but I can't say the same for your house...I'm so sorry River it all just happened all at once an..." Charlie began to cry and break down.

I didn't make a single sound but instead I just hugged him and blocked ot the sounds of the direns and water dipping.All I could hear was mine and Charlie's sobs

We were quickly broken apart as the fire chief began to clear his throat behind us.

"Excuse me, miss?" He gave me a questioning look

"Please just call me River" I despised my last name, I absolutely hate it.

"Ahh ok Miss River, it appears that the cause of the fire was a can of hair spray which imploded when it came into contact with your perfume."

Oh crap, I must of knocked them off while I was rushing around like a fool, god damn you smushy feelings! (As in her having a crush on Niall feelings)

"Well Miss River, do you have somewhere to stay for the time being?"

Just before I could speak three men appeared from the smoke and spoke up.

"River can stay with me" It was Niall, he shot me one of his signature smiles too which just made my heart melt.

"Oh no Niall You Don't have'd to..." I began to twiddle my thumbs and stair at the floor

He held out his hand as if he was offering me to grab it so I took the offer I then turned to Charlie and gave him a kiss on the cheek

I was then tugged along by Niall to somewhere I have no clue where but I just went along with it.

I began to study the other two men as we were walk-running. I remembered the curly haired one with emerald green eyes from before who was called Harry I think. The other mysterious man's name didn't come to me at first but instead he introduced himself as Liam and we had a very intense conversation about ToyStory 3.

What can I say, I LOVE Disney and Pixar films!!!

As the conversation I had with Liam came to an end so did the journey. We were stud outside of this giant apartment which was just indescribable. I was broken from my inner monologue by a voice.

''Well River, welcome home!'' he pulled me into a hug. Well this is going to be interesting...

I walked in to soon be met by two sets of eyes but before I could think someone grabbed me. Naturally I reacted with jumping and screaming.

''Wow love don't worry it's just me Louis'' He pulled away from me and shot me a smile, what is it with me and going all mushy when boys smile. Ughh

''Oh ermm...ok, hi anyway'' I grabbed Niall's hand again

''I think River's had a ruff day today so im going to show her to her room..But im sure she would love to meet you all properly tomorrow'' We both gave them all a smile and walked up the stairs.

We walked for what seemed like forever because of how tired I was but then came to a stop. The door read 'Nialler's room' Which I took as Niall's nick name. I will make sure to remember that.

''Well I will sleep on the floor and you sleep on the bed okay?'' I nodded and sat on the bed

''Ermm Niall?'' I turned to face him on the end of the bed getting something out of a draw

''Yes?''

''Why are you doing this for me? We hardly know each other..'' I looked at the ground

He dropped what he currently had in his hands onto the floor and walked over to me. He cupped my face between his hands and stared into my eyes.

''Because I have never felt this close to someone I haredly know in all my life, im not letting you go no matter what happens..I think you are the one I have been waiting for River'' I saw a tear drop run down his cheek.

''Well if that is the case..can you do me a favour?'' I wiped away his tear with my thumb

''Anything'' He replied

''Never leave me...'' He then engulfed me in a hug which seemed to last forever...if only it would.

After he pulled away from me I game him a questioning look.

''What?'' He said

''You don't have'd to sleep on the floor...To be honest, I could use the company and a cuddle right now'' I flashed bright red as he did the same.

He just nodded at me and got underneath the covers as I did the same. He the held me in his arms as I fell asleep.Right then and there I forgot all of my worries...Or did I.
