"Aurora," he starts, getting down on one knee, "will you marry me?"I use my hand to cover my mouth as I nod, not able to speak at the moment.
"Really?" Luke asks, standing up, an overjoyed smile on his face. I nod and he leans down and presses his lips to mine. When he pulls away, he slides the ring onto my finger and I get a good look at it.
The ring was silver with a HUGE diamond set right on top with smaller diamonds in bunches that resemble flowers.
"Luke, this ring must have cost a fortune!"
"It's worth it, for you," he says, leaning down and pressing his lips to mine again. I kiss back and suddenly see a bright flash. We pull away and see a man taking pictures. "Hey, get out of here!" Luke yells, grabbing my hand and pulling me away from the paparazzi. "Sorry about that," Luke quietly says, stopping when we are behind a tree.
"It's fine. I'm sure you're used to it," I say, smiling up at him. He shrugs but still has a smile on his face.
"Those pictures will be everywhere," he says, taking his lip ring between his teeth.
"Is that a problem?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.
"No, I just figured you wouldn't want everyone in the world knowing about it."
"I don't care, Luke. I love you and I honestly don't care if the whole world knows," I say, taking his hands in mine. I stand on my tippy toes and plant a kiss on his cheek. He smiles and moves so my back is against the tree. And presses his lips to mine and puts his hands on my waist. I cup my hands around his cheeks as his hands move down to my butt. He rests them there but I don't mind. I pull away and smile at him. "We should probably get back to the house before this turns PG-13," I say as he bites his lip and nods.
We walk hand in hand back to the house and when we walk in, all of the guys look at us expectantly. Luke raised my arm up and shows them the ring.
"She said yes!"
They all jump up and engulf us in a hug. "I'm so proud of little Lukey," Ashton says, wiping a fake tear away. I look up at Luke and that same proud smile that he had earlier was still there. I stand up on my tippy toes and lightly press my lips to his.
"Save it for the honeymoon," Michael says, shielding his eyes. I feel myself blush and smile. Luke wraps his arms around my waist and picks me up.
"We'll see you guys later," he says, winking at the guys. I laugh and wrap my legs around his waist as he runs to his room. He tosses me onto his bed and lays down next to me. He pulls me closer to him and I bury my head in his chest. "Can you believe it, Aurora? We're getting married." I smile and look up at him. A thought pops into my mind and I sit up.
"Luke, we need to buy a house," I say. He sits up and leans against the headboard. He motions me over to him and he pulls me onto his lap. I put my legs on either side of him and straddle him.
"Where do you want to live?" He asks, take my small hands in his large ones.
"Well, I've always wanted to live somewhere up north so I could see snow. But I wouldn't want to take you away from the guys," I admit, looking down. He lets me hand go and picks my head up.
"Babe, we can live wherever you want. Don't worry about me," he whispers, kissing me lightly.
"But what about when you go on tour and stuff? I don't want to be the reason you stop doing what you love," I say. He sighs and pulls me close to him, wrapping his arms around me.
"We'll work it out," he whispers in my ear. I smile and lean into him. "Do you think we should talk to the guys about it?" He asks, his chest vibrating against my cheek. I nod and get off of him. He stand up and takes my hand. We walk into the living room and sit down with the guys. "We have something to talk to you guys about," Luke says, turning the tv off.
"Okay, go for it," Calum says, sitting up.
"Well, since Aurora and I are getting married, we're gonna need to get a house. And, well, Aurora always wanted to live up north. The only problem is that she doesn't want to take me from you guys. What do you think we should do?" Luke finishes, putting his hand on my thigh.
"Well, we could move with you guys," Michael suggests, shrugging. I glance at Luke and meet his eye.
"Like, move in with us?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
"No. Just move with you guys and find our own places," Ashton explains.
"Oh. But, I wouldn't want you guys to leave your families," I say.
"Aurora, we don't want to leave you and Luke," Calum says, smiling his million dollar smile. This little talk makes me feel better about everything. I just hope that feeling stays.
