The sun shines down over the Phantomhive garden with a shimmering golden light that throws everything into bright contrast. It's a beautiful morning, much warmer and sunnier than usual. Everything would be perfect, it it was not for this stupid headache. I've had this headache for almost a week now and it just keeps getting worse. At least it's quiet, no loud servants trying to 'help' me. At least, it was until a moment ago.

"Come on Ciel~ please play with me!" Cries Alois, his hands on his hips like a pouting child.

"I already said no Alois! Leave me alone!" I scream back, standing and beginning to stomp away. Why does he always have to be so annoyingly loud?! As I take the first step of the patio we were standing on, a shot of pain arcs through my head and bringing me to my knees.

"Ciel?" Asks Alois, the playfulness gone from his tone. "Are you alright?"

I his through my teeth as the pain subsides. "I'm fine Trancy." But no sooner have I taken three steps than my legs give out and I collapse onto my stomach, crying out in pain. The world starts to go foggy as the pain consumes my mind. What's wrong with me?! The last thing I see before I black out is Alois kneeling next to me, his eyes wide with fear.

-Alois Perspective-

When Ciel collapsed, it was as if the sun went out; my entire world being thrown into black. But I can't think like that right now! As Ciel's eyes closed, I grabbed his thin frame in my arms and ran towards the mansion. Yes Ciel is light, but he is almost as big as me! Struggling to the manor steps, I trip and drop him into the porch. Stumbling back up, I try and grab him again but slip, hitting my head on the wall. Blackness.

-Ciels Persoective-

I awaken in my bed, the sun glittering through my window. What happened?! I think back to when I fell and when Alois was with me. Than the next thing I know I am here.

"Young master, are you feeling alright?"
Sebastian asks from the corner of my room, red eyes searching mine.

"What happened?" I ask, nor answering his question. What really happened?!

"Young lord, it appeared you had not eaten in an unhealthy amount of time leading to your collapse. Trancy brought you to the manor." Hearing his name, I look up at Sebastian for the first time.

"Trancy? Where is he?" Sebastian points to the foot of my bed as he turns and exits the room silently. The minute he closes the door i leap out of bed and rush to the foot of it. There, crumpled on the floor, is Alois. Of course Sebastian left him there...

Leaning down, I am about to smack him awake, when an idea crosses my mind. Why did he bring me I side?!
Instead of a smack, I gently caress his hair.

"Ciel...?" He mumbles, opening his eyes slowly. He looks so pale, so tired.

"Yes Trancy?" I wait for the selfish remark or snide comment. But it never comes.

"...are you alright?" His real, sincere question is all it takes for me to break. Grabbing his face in my hands, I pull his lips swiftly to mine.

"As long as I'm with you."
