Calypso held my hand. And I felt like that's where it belonged.
Somehow, she still had a crush on me. Surprising.
I took the left towards Manhattan Avenue and walked down the street and took a right turn.
There, my home.
I took Calypso up to my apartment on the 2nd floor.
It was small, just enough to accomodate me, my mom and Paul.
"Hey, you can occupy my room, I'll take the couch in the living room" I told her.
"Oh no, I can't let you do that. I don't want you to be inconvenienced because of me!" she replied.
"It's fine, I anyways don't like the color of the walls in my room" was my reply.
She gave it a thought and said "How large is your bed?"
"Enough to accomodate two people."
"Problem solved. We can share the room" she said.
I wasn't really sure about that. I mean, it would be awkward. But still, I went along with it.
Just then I heard the door open and saw mom.
"Hey mom, how you been?" I asked.
Mom said "Just good enough" and smiled when she saw the beautiful, tall girl standing besides me.
"This is Calypso, my friend whom I told you about" I said as she shook mom's hand.
"Oh, hello dear. Percy told me you would be coming, so I got some snacks for you guys.
"That's very nice of you, Ms. Jackson, but I just had some coffee and pie with Percy" Calypso said sweetly.
"That's alright, you can have them later. I'll have them in the kitchen, whenever you need em."
And with that mom left us alone. I could tell that she liked Calypso.
I had a pretty tirimg day, travelling to anothet world and all... So I told Calypso I'm gonna go sleep and she sais she's sleepy too. She we shared the bed, keeping just so much distance, and facing the opposite sides.
