Chapter 14:The Truth Comes Out

I lifted my head from Austin's chest in shock."A-Alex"I stuttered.

"Whats going on,why are you crying"Alex responded in concern.

Austin gazed at me,taking in a deep breath and exhaling.

"Cecelias pregnant,were having a baby".

Silence fell upon us now,yet again.I couldn't help but feel ashamed for some reason.Like what we were doing was wrong,like it was against the law and we could go to jail.

Alex stared at us both and a grin appeared on his face."Congratulations you two,I'm really happy for you"he said cheerfully.

It really meant something knowing our two closest friends supported us.Now it was just the matter of telling my dad and Karen.I knew they were home next week,giving me some time to figure what I was going to say and how I was going to say it.

I was full with dread even still,it was literally all I could think about as we sat down to watch the movie. "Women in black sound good"Alex said pulling the DVD out of his bag pack."sure"Ella replied giggling at him.

ALEXS POV

We all sat down to watch the movie.Ella huddled up to me,Her long,sweet smelling brown hair resting on my shoulder.I looked across at Austin and Cecelia to find they were both already fast asleep.Cecelia in his arms.

I still found it weird..you know the fact they have gone from bestfriends to a couple.Nevertheless they were adorable,One thing that still puzzled me was the fact they had chosen to have a child together,I mean we're all pretty much eighteen now.

Were all old enough and wise enough to make our own descisions,I was happy for them.Austin would make a perfect father,no doubt at all but Cecelia..she seemed pretty quiet.I don't think she was at ease at all about the whole thing.I wanted to make sure she was ok but?,ah I don't know whether I should get involved just yet.

ELLAS POV I turned over to face Alex,to find he was already gazing at me.He was so so so perfect.His glossy hair,His twinkling eyes and his smile was to die for.I was so inlove with him.I smiled at him and he softly kissed my lips.We both turned that bright red colour and looked in Austin and Cecelias direction to fin they had gone.

Austin suddenly walked out from the kitchen,through the living room,Spotting the eye contact we had both made with him."ooo what's going on here"he teased."nothing"Alex quickly replied.Trying to hide what had just happened.He was a terrible liar.

Even so Austin didn't notice."Where's Cecelia?"I asked.It was only 9:30 Cecelia was never an early nighter.Then it dawned on me. Pregnant."She's not feeling to good,she's just a little sick.She'll be fine in no time"he replied trying to reassure me.

Truthfully I was worried about her."Why don't you go see her"Austin suggested.I soon obliged.Kissing Alex on the cheek and began making my way upstairs.

AUSTINS POV "Well well well"I said grinning as i spoke. "That was an awfully friendly kiss".

"Shut up dude "Alex said playfully,trying to hide his blushing face."Ask her on a date"I replied. I wanted him to have what me and Cecelia had.I wanted him to be happy."I don't know"he mumbled scratching behind his head.

I sat down next to him,putting my glass opposite me on the table."Alex!,she so has the biggest crush on you,and you clearly do to"I said in encouragement."What if she says no"he said worriedly."Why would she,she likes yo- Just do it ok,Just do it".

Alex laughed and began to nod. Just call me Cupid I thought to myself feeling content.

ELLAS POV

I rushed upstairs to see my bestfriend crouched over the toilet,quietly sobbing to herself.

I rushed over to her handing her a towel to clean her face as I held her hair back."aw honey c'mon well take you to bed",I held her shaking hand as I led her to her room.Carefully tucking her cosily inside her bed.

I glanced down at my phone to check the time and by then I looked up and she was asleep peacefully.I crept out of her room shutting the pale whitewashed door shut as I went.As I made my way to the stairs I overheard the boys talking."I really like her Austin,Ellas perfect for me"he said,his voice full of emotion.Aww I thought to myself,he's soo sweet.

I turned back around and made my way to the guest room.I could face the tension of going back downstairs with the boys,knowing they were just talking about me.
