Chapter 2

I woke up good today, cancer free, I feel better about my life I don't feel so depressed. Augustus is not scared of obliviation anymore since he is cancer free and can live longer.

I was thinking of going down stairs to get a snack, so I walk down stairs and get an apple and my mom was sitting at the table. "Hey mom how are you" "I'm very good hazel" Said mom.

I walk back up to my room and turn on my phone and Augustus called. So I called him back. "Hello beautiful" said Augustus. "Hi Augustus" "I was thinking you can come over and play some games and watch movies" said Augustus. "Well sure I would love that." I hurried and changed my clothes, ran down stairs and asked mom if I could have the keys to go to Augustuses house. "Well sure honey be careful hazel I love you" said mom. I walk to the car and get in it. •••

I walk to the door and knock and Augustus opened the door. "Hey Hazel grace" Said Augustus. "Hi Augustus" I walk in and look at all the signs on the wall. And Augustuses mom and dad we're making lunch. "Hi mom and dad" said Augustus. "Hey Augustus who's the girl" "Oh it's hazel grace" "Its just hazel" "Hi hazel!" "Ok mom we're going down stairs bye" I walk down the stairs... oh my God it was so awesome. "This is augusto world" said Augustus. I ask Augustus if I could sit down.. and then we watched some movies and played a game. And talked a lot •••
Now I'm sitting on the couch laying my head on Augustus while watching paper towns. Then Augustus takes my hand and holds it. "Well Augustus I'm gonna probably leave pretty soon" "Ok tell me when your ready and I'll walk you out to the car" says Augustus. "I'm ready OK" so I walk up the stairs and then tell his mom and dad bye then walk to the door. Augustus hold my hand and walks me to the car. I give him a hug and a kiss and say bye! "Bye hazel grace have a good night" •••

I walk in the house and mom and dad we're sitting on the couch I give mom the keys. "Hey mom and dad how are you guys"
"We are good we we're just talking" said mom. "That's good whatcha watching?" "Oh we are just watching antiques roadshow"
"I roll my eyes and walk to the stairs" I walk up the stairs to go my room. I check my phone to see if Augustus wrote me anything he didn't so I go take a shower before I go to bed. I get dressed after I take my shower. I check my phone one more times to see if he sent me anything and he did. It says. "Good night hazel grace okay?" So I write back "Good night Augustus okay" Then I go to bed.
