Lissa:
When I got out everything to him I was desperate to hear about him. I wanted to know why he looked like he carried such a burden. I reached out to touch his skin slowly. Not caring what he was anymore. He saved me there was no way that he would harm me.
“Why do you look like that?”
Levi looked at her, “Look how?”
“You look like your holding a burden. There’s something going on that I can’t put my finger on it.”
Levi looked at her. She didn’t even know his name but she was spouting off things about him that most people didn’t even figure out for months even years. It scared him a little but he didn’t let it show to her. He closed his eyes and enjoyed her touch and didn’t think for a little bit.
He opened his eyes suddenly like he forgot that he was talking to her and spoke suddenly.
“I’m sorry. I’m obviously very different from you. I am. My mother was a werewolf. My father was a vampire.” He stopped as suddenly as he had said it all.
Levi:
After I told her my big secret I looked at her. I didn’t know what got me to tell her it all but I did. Hoping that she wouldn’t freak out I just watched her. She didn’t take her hand off my face she kept her hand where it was and I realized that she wasn’t about to freak out.
“They both died when I was young. Since then a witch has been raising me.”
“Really?” She seemed surprised by it.
“Yeah. She was a nice lady and raised me as her own. But she died a couple of years ago and I’ve been left alone basically to my own.”
“Oh,” Softly she ran her thumb over my cheek bone, “I’m sorry. That’s got to be hard.”
I reached up and held her hand to my face, and I closed my eyes. “It’s been lonely. I’ve made it through it. I have you here now.”
Suddenly I looked up at her, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to say so much.”
A smile slid across her face.
“Don’t worry. I feel the same way.”
Her smile was irresistible. I wish I could hold that smile there always. It was what would make my life worthwhile. She was what meant anything to me. It felt as if my world was her now. She then looked down and away from my eyes.
“What? What is it?”
“Just what’s your name? We have gone from total strangers to in love and I don’t know your name. Terrible to say that you love someone and you can’t even tell anyone who.”
I started laughing at her.
“You hold a very good point sweetie. My name is Levi. And yours?”
“Lissa. Well, actually it’s Elissabeth. But that’s just too much of a mouthful. When I’m old enough I’m going to shorten it legally too.”
“Lissa. It’s so you.”
Lissa got a strange kind of glow to her.
“Thank you.”
“I should get you to your new home. It’s nice out now, but I can sense a change in the weather coming soon.”
Lissa gave me a dirty look. I couldn’t help but laugh at the look she gave me.
“Lissa let’s just leave it at one of the strange things I can do. I’ll explain later I just don’t want to right this moment. It would just be a long and drawn out thing and I really do need to get you home.”
She nodded in agreement. I helped her onto my back. It was going to be the quicker way than trying to walk and she really couldn’t run and keep up with me so she’d have to ride. It just made me realize that I really needed to get a car now. At least I used to ride motorcycles so I have my license already.
Lissa:
Riding on his back was strange. It was something that no one else could say they have done before. He ran fast and through the night it was just so breathe taking. It was nothing like riding in the car. At one moment it would seem that he was going to run into a tree the next he’d dodged the tree and was on his way continuing to go faster than ever.
As he continued I just watched. Even knowing his eyes were on my face. It made me feel safer if I thought that he was actually paying attention to where he was going whether he was 100% paying attention. We kept going, until I could just barely see a clearing then he slowed quite a bit. Slowly I could start to make out a very beautiful house. It looked like a lot of houses built before the civil war era. It wasn’t normally found unless the house was held within the family.
He slowed down, letting me take in the house. It was two story house and with the light from the moon the house had a washed out blue look.
I looked to Levi, “What color is the house really?”
“It’s pretty midnight blue with pale purple trim. It was the witches’ family color so she felt the need to bring it to the house that was the families. We can change it if you want.”
I frowned. “Please no. I like it just the way it is. That color is one that most people wouldn’t have on a house. It makes me happy just thinking about what it meant for you and for pretty much mother. So the color should stay and you should never have let me even been a reason that you might have change the color.”
Levi laughed and set me down. I smiled then jumped at him. Him even with his fast speed didn’t see it coming and didn’t do anything about it as I tackled him to the ground.
“You must pay,” the words slipped off my lips as I kissed him for the first time. The first of many to come.
A.N. I came across this again and realized that maybe I should add to it maybe even make it a story that people can read. Please vote and comment!!!
