Harvee's POV:
I was woken up by the sound of an Irish voice, but it wasn't sweet and soft as I knew it to be. Instead, it was deep and full of tension. I didn't like it.
"Harry?"
Harry was here? Why would he be at my house? I opened my eyes slowly, and sure enough, Harry was standing at the edge of my bed. Neither of them took any notice of me. Niall was sitting with his back facing me, and Harry's eyes were locked with Niall's.
Speaking of Harry's eyes, why were they black?
Oh. My. Grapels.
I had seen this on a show before- Paranormal Pets. Someone's pet ardvark had been possessed by a demon, and he had multiple symptoms.
First, the ardvark stopped acting like himself. His usual high energy yelps turned into deep, emotionless groans. He would no longer light up when his owner would come home from Garbage Man College, but rather sulk in a corner. He refused to eat his canned lizard toes, and any other food that was given to him.
Secondly, his apperence began to change. His bright blue scales turned into a dark, depressing, grey. His eyes that were usually so full of light and lyfe slowly drained away until they were completely black. Just like Harry's.
No, No. It can't be. How could you even think that?
Well it happened to the ardvark, why couldn't it happen to him?
Because its impossible!
But, child, anything is possible in the scheme of lyfe!
I refuse to believe that.
You need to get your ears out of your legs and your head to your ears. Because those little animals cannot walk over here on their little non legged behinds and tell us how sceptical they are, now can they? No, I don't think they can!
I knew the voice inside my head was right. I needed to stop being so sceptical and come face to face with the facts.
Harry was posseseed.
Thinking it and admitting it to myself were two different things- the latter of which was much more frightening. I froze up and pretended to still be asleep, hopefully going unnoticed by both of them.
"Niaall," I heard Harry say. He didn't sound normal at all. Now I know he talks pretty slow at times, but this just was too slow.
"W-What are you d-doing here?" Niall asked.
Wait- Niall wasn't expecting him either? What has this demon done to him?
"Need stuff. Harvee is cool with Harry. Harry is friend."
I wasn't exactly his enemy, but I wouldn't really call myself his friend now. I haven't talked to him for a while now. He didn't act like I was his friend before, either. Whoever was possessing him was making it quite obvious this wasn't the real Harry.
"What kind of stuff?"
"WHALE WIPERS!" I heard Harry shout, followed by footsteps running out of the house.
I watched Niall rub his hands over his face, then wipe his eyes. He was obviously frustrated on what to do with Harry, and he was unsure if this was real or not. I don't blame, if I was him I wouldn't believe it either.
But I saw the ardvark.
I knew these things could happen.
Niall walked out of my room and into the bathroom, shutting and locking the door behind him. I knew now was the time to leave.
