Lexus P.O.V

We stepped out of Valerie's blue Volkswagen car, and into the cold London air. We walked into the beautiful, big, mall. There were not that many people there. Valerie pulled me into Starbucks because that's her favorite thing in the world.

I waited for her to buy something for the both of us because I don't really like talking to people that much, except for Valerie. I've been like that ever since my parents died in the car accident. I was also in the accident but I survived somehow. I really hate thinking about that awful day so I decided to wait in line and talk to Valerie.

"What do you want to drink Lex?" She asked me.

"I don't know, whatever you're getting is fine with me." I said

"I thought you didn't like the Caramel Machiatto?" She said.

"I'll just get a Chai Tea Latte then," I replied.

"Okay Babycakes!" she said out loud. I hate when she calls me babycakes! Like what kind of nickname is that for a 18, well now, 19 year old? She always gives people weird nicknames. Like Chickenbutt, Bon Qui Qui, and Sha nay nay. I know, she is ghetto. But that's the kind of person she is. She thinks she's funny sometimes when she really isn't.

"Don't call me that! You know I don't like it when you call me that! Especially in public, it's embarrassing!" I said.

"Oh please, I know you secretly like that nickname!" She replied.

"I hate that nickname! Now go get our drinks because they're ready."

"Sure, babycakes!" She said happily as she got our drinks. I groaned as I followed her. She will never stop calling me that.

"Mmmmmm, this latte is soooo good!" I said as I drank the hot delicious Chai Tea Latte. We were sitting in the food court drinking our warm beverages from Starbucks.

"I know right, thank God we went into Starbucks or I wouldn't survive the whole day!" She replied.

"That's true, you wouldn't survive a day without Starbucks,Val. By the way, can I see the surprise now?" I said.

"We didn't even go shopping yet! Wait until we get home, Lex!" She said.

"The surprise is at home? I thought it would be somewhere in this mall." I said.

"No it's at home, and you'll be so happy when you see them. I'll give you a hint though... they're people.

"My surprise is people? You know I don't like talking to people that much!" I said feeling a little nervous.

"Don't worry, they are people you love! They are also very nice!" She said with a lot of enthusiasm.

"Are you sure this isn't a prank?" I said feeling suspicious.

"I'm positive, this is not a prank! I promise you, Lexus!" She replied.

"Okay,Valerie. Lets go shopping now!" I said feeling a little happier.

We threw our plastic containers in the trash and headed for Forever 21.

When we got there, we grabbed every piece of clothing that we thought was cute and I went into the fitting rooms to try out the clothes.

The first one I tried on was a hi-low, black & white vertical striped dress. It was so beautiful and it hugged my curves. It also came with a pink thin waist belt. With the belt on it looked even more pretty. So I decided to buy the dress.

The second one I tried on was a tight, mini, dress and it also hugged my curves. It had studs on the shoulders and it was light pink with flowers. I really liked it, but I didn't know if I should get it so I asked Valerie for approval.
