My name is Ella Mcwrizzle also known as Cinderella, I am 16 years old and I live in Crankwork City (even though it's more like a town) I live with my dad Joe Mcwrizzle and my step mum, no actually evil step mum, Lady Malopone and her wicked daughters Berth Daze and Britney Daze who are 17. I live out in the country and have one fairy god mother that my mum always use to talk about before she passed away, she said her fairy godmother visited her one time when she was Eight. She has never forgotten that moment of her life and I don't think she ever will, even though she's gone I still feel her warm body and her moist roses perfume she'll spray on every morning wrap me to bed every night with dad.
It was a misty and stormy night and I was wrapped up in my warm cosy blankets with dad, Its been 1 year since my mother passed away and 1 month after my horrendous step mother and 2 step sisters moved in, Lady Malopone was my step mum she moved in 1 month ago and every day since then has been a nightmare! Berth and Britney were twins and they were 17 years old (berth was older by one minute apparently) As soon as they moved in they griped and raged at my cupboard finding clothes to wear for there first day in town, I didn't stop them. Enough about my horrible life at home at least I'm making my dad happy, my life out side of home was fantastic every day after I did my chorus and dealt with my step sisters I said goodbye to my dad who left for work every day and came back late that night sometimes he stays for a week and sometimes even a month ( before you ask, he delivers food and supplies for the people who live far out) and then I pack my picnic basket and stroll into the forest that I live right next to.
It was an important day today for the town because today was the day that our new prince enters and stays in our kingdom, but today was also a sad day because today my dad leaves for two months! We said our goodbyes and dad asked us all what we would like back from his trip, Lady Malopone asked for a diamond ring, Berth asked for a green frock, Britney asked for a Perfume bottle that smells like blossoms and me well I asked for the first branch to brush against his shoulder on the way. While he is gone, Lady Malopone gradually begins to reveal her true cold, cruel and jealous nature, persuading Ella to sleep in the attic and let Berth and Britney have her room.
