1 month later I received word that My father has passed away, I felt like my whole world had collapsed on me dad was the only one who believed in me and the only friend I had left , Desperate for money, Lady Malopone forces me to do all their work and fires the maids. she refuses to let me eat with the family, no not family more like enemies. It was One cold evening and I only had a small old fire place in my room, attic actually, so I slept by the fireplace for warmth. The next day I rise with a face of cinders, and yes that was some fun for my stepsisters as they now consequently mock me as "Cinderella" which Lady Malopone also joins, eventually even I started calling myself that.
My favourite part of the day washed down the drain as soon as dad passed I now get no alone time, the only time I get by my self is when I'm sleeping in my attic and once a week at 10:00am on a Thursday I leave to the town market to get food and supplies for my step sisters and step mother, I sometimes see them there gossiping and flirting with everyone, today was my Thursday run to the market, berth and Britney and Lady Malopone left at 8:00 and said I had to leave after I finished the cleaning, so I finished the cleaning and left for town. On my way I didn't realise how fast I was traveling on milo (my horse) as I galloped through the forest and turned past sharp corners someone ran right into me and I had no time to stop I realised my foot and went flying ford, It felt like I was falling for about 1000 hours but it was only half a second, I tumbled ford and looked up, the first thing I saw was a handsome man looking down at me, he had big blue eyes with brown wavy hair, it took me a while to realise who he was, then it clicked.
It was the prince, I had meet the prince! He introduced himself as Nick. Lady Malopone and my step sisters are going to be so jealous when I tell them I met the prince!, But then I thought, should I tell them? No what would they care about what I do, so I kept my mouth shut. Before I reached town I saw a lot of posters around, in crankwork city there is never posters so I stopped and looked at one, it was an invitation to the princes ball!, it listed, "all women in Cranwork are invited to find prince Nick a loyal wife". I ripped the poster of its mossy lamp post and ran as fast as my slim bouncy legs could carry me. I introduced the news to my step mother and sisters and they went berserk! I was getting so exited I started to celebrate with them until they told me I was not to go until all the cleaning was done and trust me I couldn't do all of this cleaning in a year! Let alone in a weeks time!
