Nicki and Drake had been in their new house and they are happy. Nicki had been getting sick for a while. So Drake decided it was time for her to go to the doctor. Drake made an appointment.
"Baby your appointment is Wednesday at 11:00 a.m." Drake told Nicki
"Okay baby" Nicki said
"So what do you think is wrong?" Drake asked
"I don't know baby it could be anything, I may have a virus" Nicki said
"I hope everything is okay" Drake said
"Me too" Nicki said
Drake layed beside her and kissed her cheek. Nicki layed there beside Drake and wondered what could be wrong. It was now Wednesday morning at 10:30 and Nicki and Drake were on their way to the appointment. Nicki and Drake got to the doctors office and signed in and sat in the waiting room. A nurse came from the back and called for "Ms. Onika Maraj." Nicki and Drake got up and walked to the back with the nurse. The nurse did the regular routine and placed them in a room. She asked Nicki some questions.
"Have you had nausea?" The nurse asked
"Yes" Nicki replied
"Have you had tender breasts" The nurse asked
"Yes, they have been very tender" Nicki said
"Have you had a fatigue?" The nurse asked
"Yes, I have, do you know it could be?" Nicki said
"Well I think I have a clue but it will be up to the doctor to determine if I'm right" the nurse said with a smile.
"Okay, I understand" Nicki said
The nurse stepped out of the room then went to the doctor about Nicki signs. The doctor and the nurse both thought it would be best to test Nicki. The nurse walked back in the room with a needle. Nicki looked at Drake worried.
"We need to take a little blood for this test" the nurse said
Nicki nodded her head in agreement and handed the nurse her arm. The nurse sanitized Nicki's arm and started to draw some blood. After she was done the nurse put a bandage where she drew the blood and left the room. The blood went to the lab to be tested. Nicki and Drake waited patiently. The doctor walked back in the room with his clipboard. He began to speak.
"Well Mrs.Maraj your signs were very familiar and the nurse knew this too. Congratulations, your pregnant" the doctor said
"Oh my god" Nicki said with shock and Drake was just as shocked
The doctor scheduled their next appointment and left the room. Drake walked up to Nicki and kissed her and Nicki hugged him tight.
"Baby I can't believe it" Nicki said
"I'm so happy baby" Drake as he rubbed Nicki's stomach.
They went home and broke the news to their families
