Disclamer: I do not own 7 deadly sins, because if I did their would be more romance.
The half destroyed kingdom gave off a foreboding aura, a lone soldier walked warily through the crumbling streets, glancing from side to side anxiously. Suddenly, a loud voice boomed at him. Doing well to startle him.The startling voice was soon identified as a tall, well built man, who was wearing a suit of armor. The solider could tell from the way the other man carried himself, and from the powerful gaze that this man had, he was of a higher standing than himself.
With only his face visible through the armor, the man called him over, "Hey! You there, boy, come here and give me a hand." The solider raced over, for he was afraid of being punished by the higher classed man. As he got a closer look at the gentleman's face, he soon concluded that he was an older soul, because of the long white beard that protruded from his face and the very noticeable wrinkles that appeared on the man's forehead.
As the two made their way to their destination, the old man asked "So, where are you from, my boy?''
"Cains, sir," the young solider replied nervously.
"Cains," the man repeated, seeming somewhat perplexed,"I've been serving here for 40 years now ,and I've never heard of the place.''
''That's not surprising sir, it's way out in the boonies,'' the blonde solider rushed out, ending with a nervous chuckle.
The older knight could sense his nervousness, and gruffly said "Now, you mustn't get flustered if you want to be a holy knight."
"Oh, I could never be a holy knight, not in a million years," the solider gushed.
"Then, this might be a tough job for a young fellow like you," the old man uttered darkly. After the doomed words were spoken, the young soldier looked ahead of them, only for his face to show utter terror. His eyes widened considerably, so much so, they looked as if they were going to pop out of his head. In front of him, he saw a field of torn up and bleeding bodies, all belonging to knights.
The solider whispered a horrified, "Who are these-,"
"They're holy knights, One and all," the old man cut him off.
At the old man's reply, the solider started to back up, clearly showing his disbelief. "N-no, what happened to everyone? I don't understand."
"What happened? They were all mercilessly butchered," came the angry reply. As the young solider struggled to breathe, the old man continued, "And in the blink of an eye too, by just eight people."
This is a tale of ancient times, an era before the human and non-human worlds were forever divided. When the holy knights defended the realm, wielding their magical powers, they were feared and highly respected, but a group among them emerged and betrayed the kingdom; they became mortal enemies to all holy knights; they were known through-out the land as the eight deadly sins.
Ten years later.......
A beautiful sunset that encased the land; a seemingly peaceful area. screech. Screech. Creak. A rusted suit of armor came stumbling and limping up the lush green hill, the armor looks to the sun, seeming to be in a wistful daze. What does this new character have in store for us, and just who is it behind that helmet?
Author's note: Hey, I'm sorry this is so short, it also probably sucks. The mechanics and grammar (which are relatively correct) that my older sister helped me with (she is also a member of Wattpad)along with the writing format, should be correct. I will try to update everyday, but if I don't, don't worry, I will get it to you. Thank you for reading, see ya later. :)
