Chapter 2 <To Be A Deadly Sin>

Yukinne's P.O.V.

Sunlight filtered through what, I supposed, was a window. As I laid in my peaceful rest, I felt something squeezing my boob. It was an uncomfortable feeling, and was enough to wake me from my unconscious state. I groggily opened my eyes to be met with a not-so-suprising scene. With an irk mark on my forehead, I formed a shaking fist. Standing in front of me was the captain, in all his annoying glory. A dark aura surrounded me as the Captain continued to grope my boob.

"Meliodas, this is the first time we've seen each other in years, and this is the greeting I get?" I yelled. The Captain only gave me his cheeky grin, but he reluctantly released my boob.

"Uh," I groaned, "I just can't stay mad at you, can I?" I asked with a smile.

"Nope, you can't," he snickered back. As I gazed around the room I was in, an important thought suddenly hit me.

"Hey, Captain, that girl I was traveling with, where is she?" I asked. I was slightly panicking, I said I would protect her, and through my stupidity, I had managed to lose her.

"Calm down Yuki, She's in the guest room," he assured. I was puzzled, if she's in that room, then what room am I in?

I voiced my thoughts,"Then where am I-,"

"My room,"he cut me off with a grin. I blushed a cherry red at his reply. I- I'm in the C-captain's room? I-I'm in his b-bed too. My blush got darker. I hurriedly shook my head to rid myself of the embarrassing thoughts. It was then when yet another thought hit me, where was my furry friend?

I go to open my mouth, but Meliodas beat me to it, "She's sleeping right next to you," he whispered.

"Huh?" I sat there, blinking my eyes. Who was he talking about now?

"Tsuki," He pronounced slowly, making me feel like a stupid child, "She's sleeping right next to you." My mouth formed an 'O'. I sweat-dropped at my stupidity. The corners of my mouth twitched up as I thought about getting to talk to the Captain again, and I sub-conciously started to pet Tsuki, making her purr. The Captain hasn't changed much, has he? He looks the same, but is the man under the skin the same too? Only time will tell, and with us now reunited after so long, there is no way in hell I'm leaving him again.

"So, what were you doing with that girl, anyway?" he asked nonchalantly. Even though he was trying to hide it, I could tell that he was really curious. I gave a 'hm' of acknowledgement, but decided not to tell, I can't always tell him everything.

"It's a long story, and I'm not really in the story-teller mood," I said.

"Well, I got time," he said, a cheeky smile growing on his face. That irritated me.

"Of course you do," I mocked,"You always have time when it concerns a pretty girl, don't you?" I had momentarily forgotten the Captain was like that, a shameless womanizer. I would never admit it to him, because it would just go to his head, but whenever he so much as looked at another girl in that way, a sharp pain would spread over my chest.

"Nope, only when it involves you."

My eyes widened in surprise. I kept my eyes on him, waiting for his facade to break, waiting for him to laugh and say 'no, just kidding.' He never did. My heart fluttered, and a small blush spread across my cheeks. Maybe if you looked hard enough, you could see smoke rising from my head. He flashes me another smile, and his green eyes showed truth.
