Four- "I'm Safe, Where I am"

Ethan's pov
Ellie's was out of surgery and doing okay. They put her back in my room.

I got into a wheelchair and wheeled my way towards her bed.

"I know, I don't really know you but please wake up."

Grayson's pov

I walked back into the room and I saw Ethan, in a wheelchair, talking to Ellie.

"I know, I don't really know you but please wake up." Ethan said starting to cry.

"We can get to know each other, please."

Ellie's pov

All of a sudden I hear a voice in my head. The voice that was talking, I recognized but did know who it said.

There told me to come back, and I'm sorry.

Was I in the space between death and life?

Ethan's pov

Ellie's hand flinched, I flipped.

"Nurse!!" I yell

"Grayson runs in and so does a nurse."

"Ethan get back in bed." The nurse said wheeling me back to my bed with the help of Grayson.

"Now, what did you need?" The lady asked

"She, she flinched her hand. As I was talking to her."

The nurse walked over to Ellie feeling her pulse.

"Well her heartbeat is up, but she might be like this for day, weeks, even months." The nurse said.

I gasped.

Right as the nurse said that and she hooked me back up to my oxygen.

All of sudden Ellie starts to move. Finally her eyes flicker open.

Ellie's pov

Finally I decided to walk the opposite direction of the light. Who ever was telling me to live, Clearly wanted me live. Suddenly walking into the darkness, I found myself in a hospital room. And I remembered everything that happened.

Grayson was talking to me, and I was dizzy and I passed out.

"Ellie is awake!" Ethan yells.

"I'm safe where I am, right?" I say.

"Yes, of course!" The nurse says running over me.

"Give me your wrist." I gave the nice lady my wrist and she felt for a pulse.

"You heart beat is much better! A lot people don't survive what you had, but you are a fighter..." the nurse hugged me awkwardly.
