Ellie's pov
wake up the next morning, not.puking thank god!

I lifted my shirt to see my little baby bump.

I remembered something I needed to do something today.

I woke up Ethan. I had and ultrasound for the baby that's what it was. And today I will know the gender. But my plan was for Ethan to know the gender but not me. So It'd be a surprise.

"Are you excited?" Ethan asks. Lately I have actually been getting used to this baby thing.

"Nope. I'm nervous."

"I'll be right by your side." Ethan said smiling.

Suddenly the happiness we were exchanging turned into me running to the bathroom to throwup.

I walk back. To the kitchen. And Ethan has worry in his eyes.

"What?"

"My mom. She's coming up for the weekend. I haven't told her."

"What?!"

"Baby please don't freak out! It's not good for the baby."

"When is she coming up?" I say.

"Tomorrow, but it's fine. It's perfect. My mom is really cool."

I started feeling light headed. Not because of Ethan's mom. I just didn't feel good all of a sudden.

We got in the car. A lot is Happening but I'll get used to it.

Ellie and I walked.in slowly. We got inside.

"Hi I'm Ellie Slitio. I'm here for a checkup and ultrasound for my baby. With Dr. Pierce I think it was."

"Yes. Go down this hall three doors down I'll send him down in a sec."

"Hi Mrs. Slitio. How the baby?"

"Good?"

"I'm just joking. So I'm gonna have you lay down. And lift your shirt just under your bra."

I did what I was told.

he put a cold gel on my stomach and moved the wand thing around.

"So you guys want to know the gender?" He asks.

"Not me but him." I say.

I left the room.

I can't believe I'm having a baby....
