"I came, I saw, and I created ladies and gentlemen.  I wanted to do what man was afraid to do.  Something that man thought he couldn't do!"

The crowd went into an up roar.  Throwing money, roses, and jewlry at me.....it was February of 1979; 5 years, 6 months, and 23 days after I had thought of this place.

"Many thought that this couldn't even be possible, and do you know where those people are now?  Below us, they are below us; and we are on top.  We're on top of the world now my friends, we are the superiors now!  No longer will you have to be held down by so many laws.  No longer will you have to be distinguished as a threat by the color of your skin, no longer will you be bashed by political or religious affairs.  Now you are free.  Ladies and gents, Welcome to Argo.  The Place of Salvation."

A giant roar of happiness leaped through the crowd of people.  Many that I seen that were down below the stage were crying.  Others were shaking fellow strangers hands.  Everyone seemed so happy.

Samuel James, my secretary, jump onto the stage and gently pushed me aside to grab the microphone from the podium.

"I would like to thank everyone here for coming out to this speech function today.  Just know that you all are making a difference to this wonderful city.  Glory to Argo!"

"Glory to Argo!" the crowd said in unison.

Walking off the stage, I kindly waved to the crowds of people before me.  Hundreds upon hundreds of people moved forward to try to get a better picture of me, but were stopped short by the security.  Casually beginning a fast walk to my limo, Samuel whispered into my ear.

"Sir, we've got to talk about something."

"What is it?"

"I'll collaborate more on it with you when we get inside."

Opening the door swiftly, Samuel and I filed into the limo.  In a quick few seconds, we were rolling along the cobblestone road.

"Alright Sam, what was this 'something' that you wanted to talk about?"

"I would classify this as a 'need to talk about' situation sir."

"Okay, let me here it."

Grabbing his brief case from beside him, Samuel flipped the latches and revealed a stack full of papers.  Pulling a packet out from the paper bundle, he anxiously passed it over to me.

"Just to do a quick run down; these are the statistic layouts of the whole city.  The EHD's are working at a 100%, grade A rate.  The reproduction cycle of our animals is going well as expected.  Our resources of constant flow of electricity is stable, and the economy is growing as we speak...."

"So, what can be the bad thing in all of this?"

"Well sir, this..."

Pulling out a Naples Daily Newspaper from his brief case, Sam tossed it over to me.

Thousands Still Missing!!!

Questions are still being asked about the disappearances of over 2 thousand people, that consecutively went missing on the same day of December 25, 1978.  What is also baffling is that the pronounced "Worlds Greatest Inventor" Robert T. Shaffer, went missing on that same day.  Police say that these individuals houses were raided, and what could be found was only their furniture and miscellaneous things, but clothes, and other necessities were all but gone.  Oddly enough, the only people that were taken were engineers, doctors, lawyers, teachers, and stock holders.  Many say that it could have been an alien abduction.  Others say that the government must have taken them all in for psychological testing, or for a top secret experiment.  No one really knows....

"I see what ya mean." I said, wiping the sweat perspiration off my forehead.

"Sir, what are we going to do about this?"

"Well, only solution I can think of is to let it blow over.  The media will find something else to worry about after this cools down."

"Sir, are you sure?"

"I'm positive."

The limo came to a smooth halt at the stairs of the city hall.  Samuel opened the door for me and walked me inside to the main lobby.

"In all due respect sir, I hope you know what you're doing."

"Trust me Sam, if I didn't know what I was doing, I'm sure you would tell me."

Samuel's eyes then drifted towards the glass pane doors and swiftly said "Uhm.....W- Well sir, I'm afraid I must be going.  I've got a meeting with some of the stock holder's down at Breton Avenue.  See you soon....."
