"Liam look!" "What is it Ang?" Me and Angel were just walking around. He pointed to a poster. "You should totally join!" I scanned the poster. "No way Angel! No way!" X factor?! She has got to be kidding me! "Oh come on! You're so good, I bet you can make it!" She grinned in excitement just by the thought. I can't really say no to her when she has that face on. "Okay. But you are gonna help me practice!" "YES!" She squealed.
Flashback
Nothing have ever hurt me this much. I cried and cried. I just got a no. I was so close. The live shows. But I wasn't good enough. How am I gonna tell Angel this?! She'll be so disappointed. I am so disappointed.
Turns out I didn't have to tell her it. When I came home, she was already there. With junk food, ice cream, Disney movies and comedies. I smiled just by sight. She was wearing pajamas and the second I stepped inside she threw me mine. "Get changed, today we're having a chill day" So I did and we spent the rest of the day, stuffing ourselves and watching movies. She made me forget and made me laugh.
"Listen Liam, I know you're disappointed with yourself" she paused. Her tone were serious but gentle and kind. I am disappointed and she should be to. "But you shouldn't be" why? I failed. "You got through auditions. With three yeses! That's amazing Liam, it proves you have talent" She took my hands. "Let have a deal okay? You train your voice, make it more mature or whatever. Then, when you're ready, you audition again. And then you show Simon that you got what it takes. That you can win this" I let her idea sink in. Could I do it? I want to. It's my dream, but I don't think I will could handle another let down. But then I guess I just have to win. I smiled at Angel. "Deal"
