Liam's pov.
I made it! I can't believe it. It feels so great. I quickly hurried of to find Angel. She stood outside looking nervous. She still hasn't noticed me, so I snuck up on her and attacked her in a bear hug. She let out a surprised shriek.
"Whoa Li, I'm taking this as you made it?" I didn't say anything, just squeezing her harder, but she got the message.
"Congrats Liam! I'm so proud of you!" We stood there hugging for a long time, until I could feel something wet on my neck. I pulled away and saw tears steaming down her face. Knowing Angel, I know she doesn't cry often, so this made me worried.
"What's wrong?" I held her shoulders studying her face for answers. "It's just. I'll miss you when you leave" she whispered.
"Oh love" I hugged her close again, but this time more of a comforting way. "I'll be back and you'll always be my best friend" I promised her. He sniffled and pulled away. "Promise you'll always be my best friend Liam, forever" she asked. She looked so vulnerable. Nothing like the usual Angel.
"Promise" I said. "Oh and you better not come back before you have won this thing!" She said playfully. Back to old Angel. Good, the other one scared me a bit. It was like she knew something I didn't.
"Goodbye Liam, I'll vote for you and watch all the shows" I smiled at her, "You better" I noticed something though. She said 'Goodbye' not 'See you later'. She always says that. She says, goodbye is forever so I'll see you later. It was weird. Like she said goodbye. But she isn't, is she?
