Your guardian Angel (Liam Payne)

ch 3. I'm sorry..

"Angel is that you?" His voice. It's so deep, but I can still recognize it. Liam. Well I was wrong. This isn't a good day!

Angel

I slowly turned around, feeling like a dear in the headlights. "Hi Liam" I smiled sheepishly and waved. Well this isn't akward at all (note the sarcasm). I studied his eyes, they have always bin like an open book to me. Happiness, sorrow, hurt and anger flashed through them. I cringed slightly, guilt eating me up from inside.

"That's all?! Hi Liam!" He shouted at me. I'm not gonna lie. I felt sacred. This is so far from lost puppy Liam, that I'm used to. Normally I'm the strong one, taking care of him. Now he's really dominating. He's grown, he's more masculine, slightly toned body and tattoos. "I-I, I'm sorry.." Damn! This boy got me stuttering. I never stutter, nor am I nervous or scared. But seeing Liam like this, tall and threatening, it frightens me.

I guess he noticed my cringes and nervousness. His gaze softened and he reached out for my hand. "A-are you scared Angel?" He asked stroking my hand with his thumb. "N-no!" I quickly claimed. "NO! Jimmy protested" Louis voice suddenly interrupted. I remembered the other boys were there too, just watching awkwardly. I broke my gaze from Liam, to give Louis that WTF?! look. He just shrugged before grinning big. Strange boy.

"Angel, why?" Liam looked at me, his eyes full of sorrow. I could feel my heart breaking at this. I didn't even know I had a heart, but apparently I do. I hung my head low, unable to near his gaze. "Liam, you don't need me anymore, you got the lads and.. It's time to let go. Even though it hard" I said softly, begging him to understand. But he simply took my hands, giving me a look full of hope. "It doesn't have to be that way, we can make it work" I couldn't help but chuckle. We sound like a cheesy cliché romance story.

"LiLi" his eyes lit up by the nickname. "Remember what I told you the day we met?" I took a deep breath to steady myself before continuing. "I'll nurse your broken wings but when they're healed, you got to fly on your own' Its time for you to fly Liam, you don't need me anymore" I didn't look at Liam, i couldn't. If I did i wouldn't be able to walk away. I left him standing there, well I tried to. Two strong arms lift me up and hung me over their shoulder. Judging by the striped shorts, I'm guessing it was Louis. "LOUIS WILLIAM TOMLINSON, PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!" I screamed, nut he only laughed in respons. Well then.

He started running and the other boys ran after us. Harry suddently ran in front of us. Curse his long, lady-like legs. "Run Lou, we cant lose to Curly!" Louis speeded up. We ended up winning, Louis completely out of breath. "Yeah.. suck that.. peasants, we won!" Louis gasped, still out of breath.

"You're completely out of shape my friend" I 'tsk'ed him. He put his hands on his hips in a sassy way, "I'm in completely fine shape!" The other had joined us. "Not if you judge by the 'Angel scale'" Liam said. I just stuck my tongue out on him. I know, I'm so mature. "You haven't changed, have you?" Liam shook his head. "I'll admit, I'm just the same as i was, now dont you understand, that I'm never changing who I am" I sang, out of tune by the way.

"Well back to me" Louis' high voice broke our chat. "What intresting is there about you?" He gasped in mock hurt. "Hazza! Angel is being mean!" He threw himself at Harry, who catched him. "How dare she" He mock glared at me. "I'm hungry!" An Irish accent suddenly said. I raised an eyebrow. "Seriously?" He just shrugged. "Niall, when are you not hungry?" Liam said, he sounds annoyed. Guess the leprechaun is often hungry. An hungry leprechaun. I don't know why I keep calling him a leprechaun. I will just stop then.

"Zayn! Truth or dare?" Louis exclaimed. We were in an intense game of truth or dare. So far, Harry have straight hair (and he's not happy!) Louis is only in his boxers (he's sitting next to me, and it's VERY uncomfortable since he don't know what 'personal space' is) and lastly Niall have snogged Liam's foot (judging by his gagging and ten mouth washes, he didn't like it)

"Dare" Louis grinned in an evil way. He scares me. Remind me to never say dare to him. "I dare you to.. Put honey in your hair and flatten it!" Not that bad, according to me. But Zayn looked terrified. But he did get up to do it. A look of disgust painted his face when the golden subtence flowded down his 'precios' hair. 

"I can't believe you made me do this!" He exclaimed. Then a evil smirk replaced his frown. Uh uh, this doesn't look good. Zayn suddently looked at me with the same evil grin on his face. "Angel, truth or dare" Think Angel, think. What's the smartest choice. "Uh dare" His grin grew. Uh uh. "I dare you to.." He paused dramticly. Well get going quiffy! "Kiss Liam" 

Both me and Liam sat chocked. The other boys was 'ooh'ing at us. "Nope I'm not doing it" I stated stubbornly. "You have to. THINK ABOUT MY HAIR!" Zayn gestured to his greased, flat hair. "Zayn's right. Beside his weird obsession with his hair" Zayn scoffed. Everybody started chanting for us to do it. For me to kiss my best freind. The one who always has been as a brother to me. I can't do this.

"A dare is a dare, Angel" Harry exclaimed. Guess he's right. I stepped closer to Liam. His eyes scanned mine. My breath hitched when he stepped even closer. So close that I could feel his body heat radiating from him. No boy have ever made me feel this way. Slowly he leaned in. I surprised myself by leaning in as well. My brain was screaming at me, to stop. That this wasn't smart. But my heart was telling me to go on, and my body decided to listen to my heart. Liam's hot breath hit my lips, we were inches apart. His lips met mine and tingles spred from my lips down my body. It sounds cheesy but its true.

Then it hit me, and i ran out the door. All the way to my house. I just kissed my best friend.
