Chapter 16
Chirs:"You sure your okay?" Rice:"I'll be fine." Chirs:"You sure?" Rice:"Yes, I am sure. Will you get Rick and Pancake, I'm gonna clean my face up." Chirs:"Okay." Rice:"Thank you so very much." Chirs:"For what?" Rice:"For everything. Helping me with this, and a over all good day, other then the whole sister being a..uh..bad word." Chirs:"(walking out the door) There is no need to thank me."
Chirs comes back with Rick and Pancake.
Rick:"Rice, have you been crying?" Rice:"Guess I didn't clean my face good enought. I need to tell you guys something."
Rice tells them everything she told her father.
Pancake:"That can't be true, she was our best friend." Rice:"That's what I thought to, but I saw it all." Chirs:"(To Rice.) It's going to be okay." Rice:"She's my sister! She called me stupid! She was my best friend before all of this! To make everything worse, I'm going to change into a horrid monster when I leave here if I do!" Rick:"What do you mean, if you do?" Rice:"Well, this is our home and what are we going to do when we go back? Our dad will turn to a monster and our mom hates us. What will we do for school? We just can't tell them "Oh, well my dad is Red Eyes and our mom is a witch who hates us and is trying to kill us. Sorry maybe next time you can meet out parents when you not freaked out." Is that it?" Rick:"I didn't think about it that way..." Rice:"Sorry for talking to you like that."
Chapter 17
Rick:"It's okay,but me and Pancake better get back to our rooms. Kiyku might think somethings up." Rice:"Okay, I love you." Rick:"Love you to, oh, almost forgot, happy birthday sis. It's 12 o'clock." Rice:"Happy birthday brother." Rick:"Are you sleeping in here?" Rice:"Yeah I am." Rick:"Do anything to my sister and I'll kill you myself. Got it?" Chirs:"I wasn't planing on do anything, but now that you mention it..." Rick:"I'm going to kill you!" Chirs:"I was playing, I'm not like that. She's my friend." Rick:"Better be." Rice:"If you guys are done, I bet Pancake would like to get some sleep and so would I." Rick:"Night sis." Pancake:"Night guys." Rice:"Night."
Rick and Pancake leave to their rooms
Chirs:"I can't beileve your not tried from that spell." Rice:"Why would I be?" Chirs:"Well, that spell takes alot of energy. Oh, wait, your and overall." Rice:"So?" Chirs:"Well, overalls, are very powerful, so many spells that take alot out of people won't take you much effort." Rice:"Oh, is that bad?" Chirs:"No, it's a good thing realy. Well we better get to sleep. Rice:"Yeah."
An hour later.
Rice:"Chirs, Chirs, wake up." Chirs:"(half asleep still.) Yeah?" Rice:"Can you hold me?" Chirs:"What, why?" Rice:"I'm now 16 years old and I still want to be held when I have a nightmare." Chirs:"Oh okay." Rice:"So can you?" Chirs:"Yeah, come on, under the covers, I'm cold." Rice:"(Smiles.) Okay. Night." Chirs:"Morning."
Later that morning at 11:11 am. Rick walks in the room
Rick:"Hey Rice it's time to get up. Dad want us- Hey what the hell are you sleeping in the same bed?" Chirs:"Claim down, she asked to sleep with me cus she had a nightmare. Nothing happen I swear." Rice:"(half asleep)huh?' Rick:"Did you ask him to hold you last night?" Rice:"Huh? Oh, yeah, I had a nightmare and you know I like to be held when I have one. I mean you should know, I've made you hold me a couple of times." Rick:"Well, okay. Morning. Dad said get up and get ready for our crowning." Rice:"Okay, thanks again for dealing with me last night." Chirs:"No problem." Rice:"You might want to get your clothes my dad brought you before my bro loses his cool in front of you." Rick:"Whatever. Chirs, she's right my dad brought you clothes and you need to get them from downstairs while my sis goes to her room." Chirs:"Thanks and okay." Rick:"No prblem..."
Chirs leaves the room, Rick leaves with them while Rice goes to her room.
Rick:"My dad knows you like my sis, so do I. So lets get this clear (Rick walks in front of Chirs and stops him in the hallway.) if you dare hurt my sister in anyway, I will some how get the beast inside of me out and make sure you feel 10 times the pain you gave to her. Understood?" Chirs:"(Looks at him with complete truthfulness) I swear I will never hurt her. I understand." Rick:"Good, then lets go (he starts walking down the hallway.) You coming or what?" Chirs:"Uh yeah." Rick:"I'll check up on you later." Chirs:"Okay, later."
Rick leaves to Rice's room.
Rick:"Hey, sorry about the protective brother thing." Rice:"Hey, but it's no problem. If I didn't know Pancake, I'd be protective to." Rick:"Yeah well yo-" Rice:"I know, I got to be ready by 9:09. I wonder why dad puts these things at the weirdest of times." Rick:"How?" Rice:"I can read minds when you don't protect it." Rick:"Ah, then why can't I read yours?" Rice:"I protect mine all the time." Rick:"Oh, well, me and Pancake are going to the movies." Rice:"Well okay, me and Chirs will probably go and just roam the streets." Rick:"Well, be careful." Rice:"I know, I also know you and dad knows that Chirs likes me. I have to douple careful with Kiyku." Rick:"I need to starts protecting my thoughts now." Rice:"Have fun with that." Rick:"Well, love you later sis." Rice:"Love you later bro."
Later that day with Kiyku.
Kiyku:"What do you mean I can't leave?" Cahser:"You can't leave till 9." Kiyku:"Fine, I'll take it." Casher:"Oh, sorry just got this msg. No leaving today. The crowning of the roraly family happig today. Everyone is off work. Bye." Kiyku:"You can enter whenever you want but can't leave? Nice law dad." Kevin:"Why not just try tomorrow?" Kiyku:"Cus I want to leave now." Kevin:"Sorry babe." Kiyku:"It's okay, better go to the stupid crowning."
Chapter 18
RT:"It's so and hard to know my sister is with my mom." Chirs:"Rice?" Rice:"Wh-what?" Chirs:"You okay?" Rice:"Yeah. Um...I'm going to sleep, will you wake me up in an hour?" Chirs:"Sure." Rice:"Thanks."
Rice walks to her room.
RT:"Why the hell would she be with mom? The women tryed to kill her! Wait, what if that what the want us to think? What if this is all a plan to get Kiyku to rule and my mother back in the kingdom? Kiyku has always loved power, my mother loved controling people. If Kiyku over took dad then she'd be queen, and people would have to listen to my mother, it be perfect for them both. That means...The crowning! It's would be the perfect time to. He's giveing us the crowns which holds some of his magic, making him weaker...They'd strick him after he cronws us, the oldest gets the thorwn and bring in who ever they want...She's going to try to bring Mom! I got to tell dad!"
Rice runs to her dad's office but not before running into Kiyku.
Rice:"Kiyku! There you are, dad wanted me to tell you, that...you need to get ready." Kiyku:"Ow, and fine." Rice:"Oh yeah, sorry about bumping into you." Kiyku:"It's fine." Rice:"I...uh...got to go. Bye." Kiyku:"Bye."
Rice runs as fast as she to her fathers office.
Rice:"Dad! Dad, where are you?" "Calm down little one. What is trobleing my child?"
Rice tells her everything she thought.
"Well my little one, I will be fine. I'll take every perction to protect myself." Rice:"Dad, why do you lie to me?" "My child, why do you say that?" Rice:"I can read you mind, you feel bad for lieing to me." "I have to for now my child, please understand I do everything for you kids, so I must do this for now." Rice:"But dad?" "Please Rice. Don't make me take your memeory of that." Rice:"Ye-Yes sir." "I love you my daughter." Rice:"I love you to daddy." "Now my child, the crowning is in an hour, go take a long bath, I'll get someone to bring you a pretty dress of your choseing to wear." Rice:"Okay daddy."
