"Amanda White, do you know why you're here" said a very familiar voice

"No, please let me go, I swear I won't tell a soul" tears well up in her blindfolded eyes, wetting the thick cloth, her hands were tied to the back of a chair along with her feet.

"Don't worry, you won't be alive for much longer"

"Oh god please don't kill me I don't want to die like this" she began to cry louder and louder "Please don't do this"

"Do you want to know why you're in this situation?" the voice was cheery and nonchalant like some kind of sociopath.

"Is it because you're a psycho!" she screamed at the top of her lungs "Be quite you whore and let me talk, You're going to die because no one will miss you, and I need someone to die, to put it simply I'm using you, you're simply a means to end"

"What? Why could you possibly need me dead?" her blindfold was now completely soaked with her salty tears.

"Well I could go into specifics but what would be the point? For you to gain some peace before death, that's not my problem, pray to your god if you wish for peace" Amanda felt the point of a knife touch her neck and then all at once nothing.

"Amanda White?" said a beautiful woman wrapped in white linen.

"Who are you? Where am I?"

"You're in a place mortals often called Heaven by mortals, I on the other hand like to call it Terra Deus"

"Terra means earth doesn't it and Deus means God right? So the land of god?" she looked confused as if trying to solve a puzzle "So why am I here? I lied, cheated, and stole, shouldn't I be, you know" she looked around nervously, and rightly so.

"You're here because you were killed before your time and now I must ask of you a simple favor, but before I do I have to tell you a story about a beautiful angel who made the worst mistake of her life, but got something beautiful from it"

"This sounds like it's going to take a long time can I like get a chair or something I don't want to be exhausted by the time you're done" as if on cue a desk chair appeared underneath her "That'll do" she said as she collapsed in the chair.

"It all started about eighteen years ago, a beautiful angel was sent to the underworld as a peace offering, you see every 100 years a tribute is offered to the ruler of the underworld in order to keep peace but this time it was different before her the tribute would be sacrificed to the king like the sacrificial lamb of old, but the king's son had just turned of age so king offered his gift to his son as a bride"

"So this girl was given to the king's son as a slave and let me guess they fell in love and she had a child" the woman looked back at Amanda with fierce annoyance "as I was saying the woman was given to the boy as a gift and with a wife he was finally able to take the throne from his father, something that happened in thousands of years, with his new throne he also demanded a heir to the throne, and there my dear child was her mistake she should have taken her own life right then but she was afraid to do so, she carried his child, there was no love, there was only regret"

So what did she do?" Amanda sat on the edge of her seat hanging on to every word with sadness in her eyes"

"for the longest time she didn't do anything, she lived with the pain of carrying a child until she discovered something terrifying, there was a ancient prophecy that stated that when a child of light and dark turns seventeen years old he would bring darkness to the both your home and mine, the angel fled the underworld through a secret passage she discovered while exploring, once on earth she gave birth to the child planning on killing it as soon as it was born, but when she say the child, HER child she couldn't kill him, she couldn't take him back to Terra Deus either so she devised a plan she left the child with an old friend on earth a Nephilim by the name of Custos"
