Tracy Henley is a 16 year old teenage girl. She just turned 16 a few weeks ago and here parents are forcing a relationship on her. In her community, everything is black and white but there's a catch. At age 17, they can marry and have the ability to see in color. Tracy is being forced by her parents to marry Ben Livingston. Of course her parents force the relationship, they give her and Ben a year to get married.
Tracy and Ben are starting to get to know each other when Jacob comes into the picture. Jacob and Ben are both handsome and caring but, something about Jacob catches Tracy's attention.
