The next day, I go down for breakfast and guess who is sitting at the table. Ben is there dressed in his usually white polo, blazer that matches his dreamy eyes, and his pants that match his perfectly combed hair.

"Hey cupcake, how did you sleep?" Has his voice always been so cute?

"Pretty well. I did a lot of thinking. I can see you got home safely. What time did you arrive here?"

"I did get home safely, for your information, and I got her about 2 hours ago. You do know it is very cute when you sleep, right?"

"What? You watched me sleep? Why?"

"I thought I would come and check on you and it was just so cute." He says as he reaches for the toast.

"Well, why did you come here. I could have ridden to school on my bike. And we do have every class together."

"But we need to bond. Plus you will have some extra energy for the day."

After I eat, I get dressed in my plaid skirt and my polo and then run down the stairs. When I get down there, I get on my shoes in the living room as Ben tries to put my hair in its usual ponytail. After several failed attempts, he gives up and tells me to leave it down for the day. My father and mother laugh at our small flirting and then bid us goodbye. We get in the car and head down the street. As we drive, Ben and me start to talk. Our conversation is very boring at first but we have a good time and time flies by. When we arrive, Ben walks me to my locker and as we walk over to his he starts talking.

"I was wondering if you would like to go to eat dinner and hang out tonight."

"You mean like a date. Of course I'll go, but you have to let me ask for permission first."

"I will, don't worry. Am I driving you home?"

"Yes. We better get to class." I say this right as the bell rings.

As we walk to class, I realize Tracy's full beauty. We have a lot in common. We like the same bands and we both like art. When we arrive at our art class, Mrs. Lilly tells us to keep working on our individual projects. Tracy asks me to grab her project while she grabbed the supplies.

"Ben, can you grab my project? I'll get all our supplies. Why do you need for yours?"

"I just need some pencils and an eraser please cupcake. Which project is yours?"

"The one with the waterfall going down it." I notice that she flips her hair as she turns.

When I go to the rack of artwork I instantly see hers. Then I walk to the blank paper and grab a price. I get to a table and set down the projects. I see Tracy struggling and run to help her.

"Thank you so much. How can I repay you?"

"You don't need to. It's what I'm here for."

We sit down across from each other. She starts to paint her picture and I just sit there and try to find her best side. What are you thinking, Benjamin, she looks good no matter what. When I start drawing, everything starts to fall into place.

"What are you doing, Ben, why are you drawing me?"

"The project is something beautiful, so why not draw the prettiest girl every." When I say this I see a small smile cross her face.

"How come you look so beautiful, Trac? I mean you never look bad, how is that?" She now starts to blush. Mrs. Lilly tells us to quiet down. The bell rings and we rush back out to our lockers.

It's now lunch and Ben offered to buy my lunch. The whole time we ate he talked about our date tonight. He called father and asked for permission and father, of course, said yes as long as I was home by 8. The day is going by so fast and everyone asks if I'm dating Ben. During English, we read from the book and worked on our essays. Ben kept freezing my computer screen so nothing got done. After lunch I have free period while Ben has an extra math class. This leaves me with nothing to do.
