I went to the class that I was assigned for and looked for seats. I should be early because there are many seats that are empty but mostly the students used the seats to put their guitar and such there. I took music, so it explains why they brought their own instruments. I didnt though.. I sat at the second last row at the most end on the left side beside the window.
I looked at all the students who were coming in and most of them are in groups. But there's a guy who walked in alone with a mask on while listening to music. His left hand in his jeans and right holding his phone. And one thing I know when I saw him is that he's korean. He is definitely korean. I looked at him making his way to his seat at the far end on the right side. He didn't bring any instrument except for his bag. While I was looking at him, the teacher came in and greet us.
"As you guys can see, there's a new student here." The teacher said to the class while pointing at me. "Introduce yourself."
I stood up slowly looking down while feeling the stares from everyone. "Kim Wonshik, 19. You can call me Ravi." I bowed and sat. The class was literally expressionless and I got worried.
"How short and simple," The teacher laughed without sound. "Greet him, guys." Some of them waved and some just looked back infront. "Okay let's start the lesson."
I looked at the guy at the back and he was looking at me. His stare creeps me out and my heart raced. I slowly smiled but he turned away. I guess he didn't see it then? I looked infront and start my study.
It was lunch and I sat alone in the corner eating what my dad packed for me.
"Aren't you the new student in the music course in class 2?" A guy sat infront of me and asked. He's korean, but he's not the one from my class. "Helloooo?"
I nodded. "You are?"
"Hongbin, I'm 19 and that's my friend Hyuk." Another guy waved and came to sit beside him. "He's a year younger than me. Anyway I heard that the new guy is korean so I just wanted to see. I'm from music too but in class 1, both of us are." He said pointing to Hyuk.
I just nodded and continue eating. I tried not to show but I was really happy that someone talked to me like that. I felt like it was the first time but I kind of felt uncomfortable because I'm not used to it.
"You can hang out with us if you don't have any friends to hang out with." Hyuk said and rose his two eyebrows. "What's your name by the way?"
"Kim Wonshik, can call me Ravi though. And I'm 19 too." I said smiling awkwardly.
Both of them nodded. "Oh yeah, there's 6 koreans in this school now including you." Hyuk stated.
"Really? Who else?" I asked curiously.
"Ey, I thought Leo's in class 2? Didn't he come to school today?" Hongbin looked around to find someone.
I was confused of what he's talking about but I remembered that creepy guy's stare in my class. "Ah that creepy guy?" I said and quickly close my mouth.
Hyuk laughed loudly and Hongbin just held his laugh. "And why is that?" Hongbin asked.
"No, I mean, like he was staring at me with such creepy eyes. I was literally scared for a moment." I explained.
"That's our Leo." A guy walked to us and sat beside me. "Hi, I'm Jaehwan but call me Ken. And I'm 20." He held out his hand for me to shake and winked.
"So damn annoying." Hongbin said and rolled his eyes. Ken pouted and Hongbin slapped his lips.
"Kim Wonshik, Ravi." I shook his hand and smiled.
