Chapter 6- Cut the Crap

I wanted to write more and add on, but I guess a cliff hanger isn't that bad. Mwahahaha. I'm evil. :)

He led me out, and I quietly followed. I didn't know where we were going , but I was certain that he was a vampire. His reaction to what I accidentally said was the proof. I concentrated on following his footsteps, and listened to both our footsteps.  

Adrian seemed tense and I guess it was because I knew what he was, but to me, it seemed like something normal and it didn't really matter to me. I knew about vampires walking among us, about a year and a half ago. I was used to the fact they drank blood, that they were faster, stronger, and much more manipulative. Some say that they are loathsome creatures that deserve to be perished, but what they don't understand is that they are very similar to humans. 

Us, humans, need to understand and except that. Humans are just as munipulative, and some are fast and strong too. Vampires just enhance all human needs and abilities. Some people believe that the vampires have no heart, and are ruthless. Thats not true, their emotions are stronger than any human, and possibly every human combined. 

When they love, they love like no other. They can't stay away from their love, and they can feel their pain. It would feel like the sun got brighter, and nothing in the world matters. You may say that once you found your love, you see nothing but them, but in truth, you would not forget about everything else. You would still be stressed for a test, be excited that you got concert tickets to your favorite singer's concert. To them, they are in their own little bubble. 

When they hate, they hate like no other. They can't stand to see them and not physically hurt them. But usually, their sense of hate and revenge is to emotionally and mentally damage the other. I would never want to be hated by a vampire. 

I do want to be loved like vampires, and want to sense that feeling. I know that I'm different from everyone. I'm not human, but I'm not vampire either. I'm something in between that I need to figure out. No one else knows about me, not even my friends. They don't know I've been trying to find out about it. I know that Alex and Maddy know, and that's why they're always protective of me. I've observed all this.  

Adrian snapped his fingers in front of my face, bringing me out of my thoughts. I better start explaining to him about how I know about this. I looked around to see us by ourselves in a garden. I sat down, and motioned him to sit too. This would be a long story. 

" Okay, judging by how you figured out I'm a vampire, and I had my guard up, you know a lot about vampires. How did you know, or actually how did you find out about us?" Adrian questioned. HIs expression wasn't one of fury or frustration, it was a curious gaze. He wanted to actually know, and not hurt me. I knew this was a horrible secret to know, but I do keep the secret, and it wouldn't surprise me if he couldn't let me live for knowing. But of course, I would put up a fight. 

" It started after about a half year I was at boarding school, and I've been here two years. Since you're a vampire, it wouldn't hurt if I told you that you're not the only vampire at that school. You probably know who already, but just so we're on the same page, Alex and Maddy are vampires. They're how I found out about vampires. They never told me directly but I kind of found out. 

" Alex and Maddy were out on a date, but now I know better. Since it was Saturday, they went out hunting like every week. When they were gone, I was just listening to music when an envelope got slipped in from under the dorm door through the gap. Curiosity got the better of me and it was by the elders to protect a secret. So I opened the letter to read it.
