"You should atleast try it this time Ms. Garcia. We both know that you have the potential of winning the crown."
Nandito ako ngayon sa office ni Mr. Lovurn, our Physical Education Proctor. "I'm sorry Sir pero kasasali ko lang po last year. Isa pa, hindi po ako naka-pasok manlang sa Top 3, siguradong matatalo lang ulit ako."
Ito na ang pangatlong beses na ipinatawag niya ako sa office niya sa linggong ito para pilitin na sumali ulit sa school pageant. Hindi naman sa nag-iinarte ako kaya ayaw kong sumali, hindi ko lang talaga forte ang pagsali sa mga pageant at napilitan lang din ako nung nakaraang taon.
"I believe that you can do it this time Ms. Garcia. And stop putting up your lost last year, you were excellent that night. In fact, isn't that the reason why you're given a chance to be a model?"
I smiled at him. Totoong ang gabing iyon ang nagsilbing daan para makuha ako bilang isang modelo at ipinagpapasalamat ko iyon. Iyon ang naging daan para makayanan kong ma-i-raos ang pag-aaral ko. "Totoo po iyon Sir. Pero hindi ko po talaga hilig ang pagsali sa pageant. I can't see myself as someone who's going after a crown and owning it. Hindi po iyon ang pangarap ko."
He sigh in defeat, and with that I know that I've already convince him. "Okay, I won't push it anymore. But if ever you have changed your mind don't hesitate to talk to me okay?" I smiled at him and nodded.
Maliban sa wala akong hilig sa pag sali sa pageant, isa pang isipin ko ay ang gagastuhin sa pagsali doon. It requires quiet amount of money and I think, instead of spending it to those kinds of stuff why not use it for my tuition fee. I' am true to my words when I say that I would stand on my own, and with my state right now, the most rational thing to do is to focus on my goals and set other factors that may delay it.
Lumabas ako ng opisina ni Sir Lovurn at naglakad papunta sa susunod kong klase. Hindi pa naman time, infact, I still have an hour and a half before the next class pero dahil wala namang gumagamit ng room na iyon this time, I've decided na doon nalang muna tumambay para makapag review.
Saktong pag dating ko sa room, umupo ako sa dulo at binuksan ang aking accounting book. As long as I want to take a rest, I know that I shouldn't since I didn't do good on some of my subject's quizzes last week and now I have to pay extra effort para mahabol ang grades na nawala.

Napatingin ako sa pinto at nakita ang hindi masyadong pamilyar na muka. Tumingin ako sa paligid at ng masiguro na kaming dalawa lamang ang nasa room ay itunuro ko ang aking sarili habang nakatingin sakanya.
Bahagya siyang ngumiti na bumagay sa kaniyang may kaamuan na mukha. "Ofcourse, sino pa ba ang kakausapin ko?"

I was caught off guard and has no idea what to say. Hindi naman sya ang unang taong kumausap sakin dito sa school, but he had been my classmate since the start of semester and somewhat I must know him. "Im sorry." I smiled at him apologetically. "Siguro naging sobrang higpit ko lang sa sarili ko this last semester na hindi ko na napansin yung ibang bagay."
He nodded. "Right, infact, it is only Zandrix that you're talking to." He started walking and lean on a chair 3 row away from me. "But try to ask Zandrix to make sure that I'm really you're classmate."
I laugh lighty at what he said. "Baliw, hindi na kaylangan no. As if naman na binubudol mo ako." I offer my right hand even though I know he can't reach it. "By the way I'm Mae."
He seems surprised by me, but cover it with his smile again. It's just been minute since we talk and he smiled too much. "Silly, ofcourse I know you." He offer his right hand too. "I'm RM, Reif Maximilliano."
