Still gotta go

After a long attempt of sleeping I give up, glancing at my alarm clock i groan, 7:09am, if I plan on still going to school I'll need to get up. I sit up groggily, rubbing my eyes a bit before falling off of the bed, landing ever so gracefully on my face, I glare at my legs for failing me, the notice I had no feeling in them at all, panicking I moved them around until I felt my toes again. Standing up now I walk to my bedroom door, grabbed my backpack, my sweater, my coat, and grabbed my phone from its charger before heading out it.
Walking into the living room felt odd in a way, my stepmom was sleeping on the couch, probably had a movie marathon and didn't hear me.... Anyway I pull the blanket  to her neck so she wouldn't get sick, then walked down the hallway that lead to the front door, I passed my step sister's room and peak in, she was in her emo fase ,black everything and band merch covered her room, not that I didn't like darker colors, hell ther're what I wear most of the time, but she is a bratty tween. She was snoring softly, I close the door and continues  on, stopping at my dad's room, I reach for the door but stop my self, I shake my head and walk out the front door, locking it behind me. I glance over at the grave yard across the street, a eerie fog covered it. I quickly walked away, with an odd feeling.
It's bitterly cold out this morning, I can tell by how people are rushing to keep warm, but I felt nothing ,if anything I felt what the cold was doing to the cut on my wrist. Even though the coat ,sweater, and gaz my cut seemed to almost freeze, I rubbed it lightly before rushing to the center of the city where my school was.
After running up hill for five minutes you'd be out of breath ,but since it seems like I don't need air i can run forever, finally i reach the school gate, walking past many groups of teens who barely even glanced at me, ignoring them I climb the stairs to the forth floor and into the first door on the right , my first period, English. I sit in the back of the class, already setting up desk so I could have some time in the library, I needed to find books on zombies pronto. After I finish setting up I slip away to the library hoping to avoid....... Oh no.
"Marry!" Two high pitched whines sounds from behind me, two pairs of arms pick me up, I struggle but my captors hold tight. I turn around to see two pale, lanky teens ,a guy with longish blond hair ,green eyes, and plump lips that held a firm smirk holds my waist, and a girl with long blond hair , blue eyes, and a matching mouth holds my shoulders. Both hugging me to death, or not, anyway these clingy blonds are the Simon twins, aka my only friends, Jeremy and Jean, transfer students from New Orleans that moved here a year ago where outcastes by the majority of the school cliques due to well.... Their love of dark things. Don't let their bright personalities fool you, they were voted most likely to be in a cult ,they thought it was a award. But they somehow got a liking for me after I sided with them in a fight with some "Nerds" over if ghost are real, after I mention my encounters from living next to a grave yard they instantly never left me alone.
"We where so worried!" Jean shouted nuzzling my shoulder,
"What? Why, and put me down!"
They set me down but still hugged me, realizing this is as far as they'll go I gave up struggling "what are you guys talking about?"
"You texted me at 11 at night that you where worthless and should die, and then texted Jeremy "goodbye" at 11:30," Jean explained,
"We tried to go out but it was storming outside," Jeremy added before his eye scanned me for any signs of injury, I sightly thanked myself for keeping my sweater on, Jean had joined in on the search for injury but I cut it short,
"I'm sorry if I worried you guys, I wasn't in a good state of mind," I apologies, I was a little happy they worried, they gave each other a nod before patting my head.
Suddenly an idea popped into my head, they'll know a ton of stuff on zombies! "Hey um guys?"
"Yes?" They say at the same time,
"What do you guys know about zombies?" I ask, the twins glance at each other before answering,
"Well...." Jean started,
"Um...." Jeremy ended, snapping his fingers to jog his memories, but they both seem to draw to a blank. "It seems we don't know any facts off the top of our heads into any detail but...."
"....There are some books in the library we could show you during lunch," Jean ended, brushing some hair behind her shoulder,
"That sounds good, thanks guys see you then," I mutter before walking off to class,
"Wait why-" but I was already out of earshot by then.
Focusing in class with a split open arm is not as easy as it seemed, and my eyesight seemed to have worsened after my accident, because in the middle of every class I asked to move up front to be able to see the bored, earning me a dozen glare from the students and teachers. And another thing, people are noticing my changed appearance, I heard several quite conversations involving my name and drugs, but who care what the school thinks, I sure as hell don't, what I do care about is finding out what the hell is going on with me right now. Thankfully the lunch bell rang, I started my dash for the library, but stopped dead when a smell hit my nose, it was amazing, like rare steak covered in A1 sauces. I followed the smell into the nurses offices but stop half way though the door. There on the odd bed was a boy with his arms covered in cuts and bruises, his nose bloody, and his lip busted. A sickening realization came to me. The amazing smell is coming from him. I let out a low groan, the boy herd me and looked over at me, a weird expression on his face when he saw me, we made eye contact before I dash from the room all the way to the library.
